I was a Bush supporter but that old 20/20 hindsight shows me how much of a snake the guy is. He does nothing that is not for him and his clan. He got a lot of soldiers killed and lives dramatically changed because "they tried to kill my daddy", and he created the whole fake story to go into Iraq.

He still works very much in the dark as a political piece but he publicly says he left politics when he left the oval office. He wants people to believe he just paints and knits all day, but he is very much involved in rino politics.

That’s exactly right, they’re doing to MAGA what they did to the tea party and Trump either doesn’t realize it or doesn’t care.

They saw they were losing power and knew they couldn’t win the debate so they “embraced” the tea party message, put their guys into power (Paul Ryan, McCarthy and yes Rubio), got them elected and took away power from anyone who was serious about the platform before turning it right back into the GOPe/RINO/globalist party.

Same script, different name.

And Trump had them dead to rights. I’m talking full potential control of the party from the national level to the bureaucracy with his daughter in law running the GOP to a 500 page playbook and a massive group of private sector business experts ready to clean shop in DC as soon as he got elected and what did he do 3 months in?

Hand the GOP back to the party apparatus, abandon the plan to drain the swamp, kill off fraud investigations, walk away from the 2024 platform and start/continue wars while ignoring the domestic economic conditions that actually got him elected before telling anyone who complained to GTFO of his coalition.

I’ve come to peace with the fact that I will probably never understand his motives or logic, but it’s going to be a formative lesson for Gen Z Trump voters like McCain was for me.
