Let’s not forget adding $30 trillion in national debt over the last 18 years to goose equity and home prices as boomers retire. It’s a two decade long debt fueled asset bubble from which Gen Z will inherit the bill and deferred infrastructure maintenance

Your dad didn’t retire? Sounds like he needs to put down the burritos.

Correct. This is also why I said people complaining about gas prices should list their note because most can’t afford $4 gas but have a $1000 note on a 65k vehicle they financed out over 8 years paying more than their rent.

Defending stupid consumers is part of our problem in society.

MAGA on this board has been reduced to a small number of rural Arkansans making up straw men arguments. Sad what it’s all come to.

we actually had a system of capitalism in place, they wouldnt be rejecting it. They know the system is rigged, and they know no one gives a damn about them. So they will drift towards whomever or whatever at least addresses them personally, and communism feasts off of these opportunities.
True. Ironically though communism just makes it more rigged, it’s just rigged for govt/party officials instead of billionaire oligarchs.
MAGA/America First agenda is the correct one. Unfortunately Trump abandoned a lot of it, but the idea is still mostly correct.

Dude, home equity considerations is not the driving reason behind our debt. Actually it isn't even part of it. Social programs, that GenZ want is however a large, driving force.

Hilarious you saying straw men when I’m not in Arkansas, not from Arkansas and not an Arkansas fan but I did sign up as an Alabama fan until I saw it triggered people being an Arkansas fan. Keep going, tell me more about myself.

How exactly does politics work?
You appeal to voters. This has nothing to do with the merits of the socialist ideas, rather a suggestion to acknowledge the economic problems and offer voters a solution instead of mocking them for being poor.

So meddle and dictate.
After all the meddling and dictating that tUS government has done to get us where we are today, you are still tasking them to fix it.
Amazing.
There is a saying about insanity that would be appropriate here.

It's sad but somewhat understandable for a few of them. Housing situation has become brutal. In the 90s when I grew up, i could work a shite job, and as long as I put my 40 hours in, I was able to easily afford rent for an apartment. It wasn't a good apartment, but it was still something I was able to afford and allow me to live alone. In 00s, I was able to buy a house. Only had to put $3k down and mortgage was only $400 a month.
Now, it's almost impossible for someone to work a full time shitty job and find an apartment to rent alone, for those just venturing out. I see too many young people having to live with 2 or 3 other roommates just to have housing. It's not surprising if a few of them have lost trust in capitalism.

No, it’s burritos, Netflix and brunch.

No, it is what they are asking for more of except they are wanting it full bore.
Burritos, Netflix and brunch should be normal expectations.

I mean I wouldn’t have a “very” positive view on it either, but I wouldn’t definitely have a “positive” view on it, and say that out of all the government and economic systems in the world, it’s the best one by far.

and lots and lots of young people don't have realistic paths to a good job, a house, and a family.
That is absolute bullshite. There are lots of paths but these weak-minded, lazy, incompetent young adults simply don't want to work hard. There are plenty of surveys that show the delusion young adults have with work/life balance. They want comfort and convenience with zero accountability and poor work ethic and that simply doesn't happen in life unless you were born to a wealthy family and even then it's not guaranteed.

home prices exploded due to illegals. Supply and Demand.
