This brings back bad memories for me. I had a $10 thousand dollar bet on Hospers.

PS - Don't laugh. If I had won that bet, I'd be sitting on $187 million dollars right now.

This is completely mind blowing for me. Growing up and living in Pittsburgh for the better part of 30 years, the PG has been one of the boldest Dem supporting newspapers you could imagine. Hell, they were so deeply Dem that the Tribune Review gained popularity just by being somewhat balanced.

This simply doesn’t compute for me.

This is probably a bit of an oversimplification, but if Western Pennsylvanians don't have jobs, they can't buy newspapers or from the advertisers who support newspapers.

The PPG was merged with the toledo blade in 2018 and the blade's editor, who has been very pro-trump, took over the PPG. One of his first moves was to fire a PPG political cartoonist for being too anti-trump. Totally different leadership than 2016.

Have you asked yourself the question of why the owners installed totally different leadership?

So why every time a paper endorses a Lib everyone on here says it doesn’t matter and nobody cares what a paper thinks. But this is different?

Nobody is switching their vote because of what a freaking newspaper editor thinks

Agree but still an interesting thing to note in a battleground state and traditionally solid dem union town
