Friday, October 13, 2023: “The Friday of the Al-Aqsa Flood”

This topic was mentioned within the pinned thread at the top of the board (and likely within other threads as well), but it’s pretty buried; so I thought I’d give it its own thread.
Federal (and in many places, local) law enforcement officials are warning the public to be “hyper-vigilant” tomorrow after Hamas publicly urged supporters to take to the streets in a day of action in support of the terror attacks in Israel. Hamas’s leader has declared Friday, October 13, 2023 as General Mobilization Day For 'Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.
The “call to action” by Hamas was first reported by the Middle East Media Research Institute: LINK ]MEMRI.org.
Now I’m of the opinion that most terrorist groups don’t announce their shenanigans before unleashing their cowardice, so I’m not anticipating anything to go down—at least not over here—and I certainly don’t intend to change a thing about my normal activities tomorrow. No way should anyone live in fear (the goal of terrorism) of those savages.
But I appreciate LINK ]Rep. Gaetz’s (X) approach:

Seems they have a pattern of sudden, blitzkrieg style attacks, followed by high profile 'call to action' announcements, which almost never pan out to much of anything. More like just adding fear out into the ether for the sake of it.

Not gonna lie.. I’m a little bit concerned here in Texas.. there has been a shite ton of refugees cross the border here, and many are fighting age men
Sure, most Texans are armed.. but there are also a lot that have their head in the sand.. there are enough of them that they could do some serious damage if they have access to arms..
It doesn’t really matter where they are if there are 10,000.. 50,000.. 100,000.. who knows how many..
I once held out hope that they opened the borders in order to dare these people to cross so that we could arrest the ones that needed to be caught.. but they are basically letting them all just come across.. it’s bad news
