If it's true Canada is already imposing tariffs on U.S. goods, then frick 'em.

Exactly why we are where we are. As usual, the MSM will not report this. Go to your trusted sources to get facts.

Who negotiated the most recent NAFTA deal that allowed Canada to charge heavy tariffs on USA imports?

I googled and can't find what those amounts of dairy products are which are allowed to enter Canada tariff free. Do you have a link?

In my search I saw that the U.S. protested Canada's tariffs on dairy products in 2023 but some obscure arbitration panel found Canada's tariffs were not restricting trade. That document was about 500 pages long which means I didn't read it.

The fact they don't have a real military is reason alone for us to claim the territory

How about we actually build a refinery that can handle that crude?

Until they can’t, and then China wins. Keep using your CCP binoculars as you act as though the CCP isn’t subverting the economic process.

No comment on Segway huh?

How about you come up with the billions of dollars it would take to get a good yield of diesel fuel from light WTI barrels at 10% interest rate and see how that works for you.

Kicking out Canadian barrels is stupidity at it’s finest and sends those heavy barrels to Asia for their refineries to make fuels the US needs…and are currently made in America by Americans.

Thats not how it works. They arent competing vs Chinese.

Theyre using components made in china to reduce the expense in order to compete with these economies of scale.

Here, let me help you out.

Items made in China (to assist these small businesses) are eventually copied (in some cases - with definitive proof). Their government then subsidized the copies item in order to drive those American small businesses out of business. Even with proof, your only option as a small business is to sue the knockoff in China. Good luck with that.

In the case of Segway, they had definite proof. It never went to trial. Instead they were actually purchased by their competitor.

I guess that is win in your book.

I call it a loss.

I would imagine that those former employees at Segway feel the same.

A very apt axiom that applies to Trump:

The power of one depends on the stupidity of other(s)

Trump just explained it, read slowly. I’ll give you one easy example, we do not need their lumber.

No he didn’t. The legit arguments are:

1. The military free ride
2.Canadian tariffs being high

The stupid argument is that a trade deficit is tantamount to a subsidy. That is a moronic take, and Trump knows it. Trump also knows that a real explanation would glaze the eyes of most people, so he uses this.
