Hecker obtained recordings of her superiors telling her to prioritize the opinion of the station’s General Manager, and the company’s CEO, above that of the audience.
Hecker: “What’s happening within Fox Corp is an operation of prioritizing corporate interests above the viewer’s interest and, therefore, operating in a deceptive way.”
She also obtained audio of Fox 26’s VP and News Director, Susan Schiller, telling Hecker to “cease and desist” posting about Hydroxychloroquine on social media.
Hecker interviewed Dr. Joseph Varon, MD, Chief of Critical Care and COVID-19 Unit at United Memorial Medical Center in Houston, who told her of his success using Hydroxychloroquine on certain patients.
Hecker: “The viewers are being deceived by a carefully crafted narrative in some stories.”
Things turned racial behind the scenes, according to Hecker, who recorded her superior, Lee Meier, as they judged the newsworthiness of a story based on specific demographics — on one occasion, a Fox 26 executive said that a “poor African-American audience” wouldn’t care about Bitcoin stories.

The HCQ audio should result in criminal charges. People died because of a purposefully misleading narrative

Well I'm a little disappointed I thought there would be some big bombshell (other than the reporter herself)

Sounds like they wanted her to do propaganda instead of journalism

When I started my role for a major broadcast company in January 2019, I had to sign an affidavit stating I would not engage in any partisan political activity. This meant I could not post opinion political posts on social media, I could not put bumper stickers on my car, I could not donate to political candidates or attend their rallies, and so on.
In June 2020, that affadavit we all had to sign became null and void. Then all of a sudden we started getting emails from the company about donating to BLM, attending BLM and gay pride rallies, donating to democrat candidates, resisting Trump, how Trump was a problem, and so on. George Floyd basically caused the broadcast company I worked for to drop the false pretense of impartiality.
Working in TV news was a cancer. I used to justify it to myself that local news was different than national news, and it was for a while, but no more. The two are the same, equally biased and shite.
I wish I had the courage to do what this lady did. I was not an on camera talent, but I sat in plenty of production and department head meetings where partisan political agendas were pushed.

All the media is doing this. There a concerted effort to destroy America, for rating....

Hecker is a true American Patriot. This is what we call a real journalist. Willing to put her career on the line to expose the truth about her own news station. A very brave woman. Hopefully this will lead into a domino effect

I was expecting a bit more too. Hell I heard worse shite in my decade of TV experience.
I worked at one TV station where we spent many thousands of dollars focus grouping the market to determine why our viewership was plummeting. Around November 2016(hmm I wonder what happened then) our viewership numbers began to tank.
We do an entire week of focus groups and the #1 problem given by those participating that we were too elitist and politically biased.
So what does our news director do when we had the post mortem meeting over these focus groups? "They don't know hat they are talking about! We aren't biased!" and nothing changes. So we wasted all that money on focus groups, for what?
That's the problem with news, they all live in such a bubble, that they don't know they are biased because they believe their way of thinking is mainstream and neutral.
Every TV station I have ever worked at, there is massive segregation between the newsroom and sales department. I've been at 4 stations, not one of them had a dynamic where the sales and news teams intermingled. Two completely different types of people.

When you add up all the mistakes by Dim governors, lies and suppressing the truth by the Gaslight Media and anti Trump forces….well, its how you get 600k dead Americans from a virus that probably would have killed maybe 100-200k if the pandemic hadn’t been weaponized to defeat Trump in the 2020 GE.

Appalling! How many Covid-19 patients would be alive today if they would have had access to Hydroxychloroquine treatment? Those people should not have died. There was an effective treatment.
This is appalling. A really disturbing revelation.

Who are the racists again?
Seems like these statements ALWAYS come from the LEFT side. Alas, my conservative opinions of "we are all American" regardless of race, color and creed, is no doubt being called a Deplorable American Domestic Terrorist by OUR? government.

Libs are by far the most racist people in the country. The soft bigotry of low expectations. I know plenty of black people who would be interested in a Bitcoin story.
