It's not the money...it's that HALF our population wants an OPEN BORDER, and "fundamental change" to a Global Authoritarian (Democratic) Socialist Government. Building a wall is cake, but that is not easy to fix.

Trump lost The Wall debate two years ago, before he was elected president when he claimed Mexico would pay for it.
Also, a new CBS News Poll shows most Americans (54%) oppose the Trump shutdown. Also, it shows a plurality (43%) blame Republicans if things are shut down, while only 24% aaccuse Democrats of this disorder.

Actually I’m against the wall, I think making permanent small military posts every 50-100 miles along the southern border. I think using drones and other high tech surveillance equipment would be a better solution along with great training for our military.
With that said I’m good for $1000 towards the wall just to witness a Melt not seen since November of 2016. How long would it take to get 5 billion? A few months?

I’d love to see a law passed allowing people to fund items they support but Congress hasn’t funded when they do their taxes. Basically that hot issues be put on the tax forms each year, an account set up for those that must be used only for that purpose, and you check off what you want and add how much money you contributed on top of your tax bill or subtract it from your tax return if you owe nothing.
Would be interesting to see how much people would contribute if they knew what the money would go towards.

I've been saying there should have been a "buy a personalized brick" program, where you could donate some amount and have a brick engraved with whatever you like.
