Exactly. Just because we don't want a democrat, doesn't mean we want a swamp scum republican. He's in the pocket of big donors, posting campaign posts of him on a million dollar boat owned by an oil company (which I support, but I don't need my governor on their boat).

All of his "fighting against woke and biden and democrats" was 100% grandstanding for his governor job.

All I want is a governor who isn't woke and isn't trying to be a career politician.

Bodi White was a politician in the Capitol for 20 years. Is he suddenly shocked by what’s going on all around him?

He “served” during the Jindal and Bel Edwards administrations. TONS of funny business with money and budgeting occurred during those 16 years.

Look for Bodi to have a job in St. George

or maybe its sour grapes for not getting appointed to the St George mayors job. Coincidental timing, if not

I mean, Bodi did run for the Baton Rouge mayors office

I support Landry wanting to maintain the voter rolls. That is good policy.

But everything regarding Landry is an absolute shite show these days.

This issue likely has more to do with a POS working for Landry than it does with Landry himself, but I would think the head of your liasion team is very close to the governor, so he had to know what he was getting.

I thought Bodi White lived in Central?
Why would he be appointed as SG mayor?
Did he move?

Pretty much my view on this. How hard would it have been to make sure and verify there was money in the budget to fund this needed program prior to having your guy tell legislators it’s in there?

Former state Sen. Bodi White has quit as Gov. Jeff Landry’s legislative liaison after a staffer to Landry lied to him about financing for a bill and that in turn caused White to provide misinformation to a senator and former colleague, he said Tuesday.

This may be the reason Bodi is putting out there. I’m betting he thought being aligned with Landry would get him the nod for the first St. George Mayor.

I can forgive a lot if Landry successfully gets that bridge built (or at least construction started) in Lake Charles and Baton Rouge

Both are happening regardless

Because that’s gonna fix the states economic, infrastructure, education, and crime problems right there. Another social conservative political issue, which seems to be all Landry cares about.

Classic misdirection. Just go ahead and say you don't want the voter rolls cleaned up - it's ok, everyone knows.

Wanting accurate and clean voting rolls isn’t a “social conservative issue,” it’s a good government issue. It’s disturbing that you’re comfortable with stale voting rolls with thousands of inaccuracies on them.

Why do you want to undermine our Democracy?

If Karen Jean Pierre has to enter the job market in a few months, Landry should try to hire her.

Is this really an issue in Louisiana? Last I checked, Louisiana actually has some of the most trustworthy elections of all the states in the Union.

Jeff Landry seems to be doing a great job at trying that.
