Former CIA officer pleads guilty to defrauding US taxpayers of $193 million

David J. Rush, 49, of Ashburn, Virginia, pleaded guilty today to executing a scheme to defraud the federal government relating to the misuse of his government position, resulting in a loss of approximately $194 million.
“Federal employees are entrusted with serving the American people, not themselves,” said Attorney General Todd Blanche. “The Trump Administration is committed to rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government, including by prosecuting those who foolishly defraud American taxpayers.”
“Following an internal investigation that identified potential crimes, CIA immediately referred this matter to the FBI,” said CIA Director John Ratcliffe. “David Rush abused his position and betrayed the public trust and should be held fully accountable for his actions. We appreciate our law enforcement partners in the FBI and Department of Justice for securing this outcome. The Agency is committed to ensuring that those entrusted with our Nation’s secrets are held to the absolute highest standard.”
“By his own admission, David Rush defrauded the government of hundreds of millions of dollars, and then misused those funds for extravagant purchases,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “Rush betrayed his oath, his co-workers, and the American people and he will now face justice for his actions. This plea demonstrates the FBI’s commitment to protecting the public’s trust; and that no government position, security clearance, or access to government resources places anyone above the law.”
I'm 100% convinced if the federal government had a functional and efficient auditing process throughout the federal government, including all private companies who do contract work for the federal government, the audits would find hundreds of billions annually of waste and outright theft.
Just one CIA dude had nearly $200 million in US taxpayer dollars (including $40 million in gold bars) in his fraud portfolio.

He has also admitted to giving information to foreign intelligence services. Not only a thief, but a traitor too.

This dude could be a potential key to pick the Bureaucratic Deep State lock, he has to know a lot of unethical and illegal insider BS the CIA has committed over the past 10-15 years.

Rush also admitted he gave away 'certain descriptive information' to a foreign official which could 'endanger the safety and life of the human source and the US government officers working with
'The disclosure of such information could endanger the safety and life of the human source and the US government officers working with the source and jeopardize the US government's ability to recruit human sources, who rely on the US government's assurance of absolute secrecy,' the document read.

It begs the question... How did forty-fricking-MILLION dollars worth of GOLD BARS make it into this person's possession without anyone noticing?

What's gonna really suck is when/if the DSA Skunks get control of the White House and Congress what they will do to fund their DSA agenda. I'm sure taxes are going up and some programs/entitlements will be means tested and in some instances eliminated based on a person's income and net worth, but the rat bastards will still take your payroll taxes.

What the hell is going on in this constitutional republic?
This nation used to execute spies and traitors and now we openly allow the enemies outside our walls into our best STEM universities, only to take the latest science and technology breakthroughs back to their country of origin to use against the American people both economically and militarily. We have to be either the most corrupt and greedy nation on the planet or we're the fricking dumbest.... I'll go with the most corrupt and greedy nation on the planet.

Well if we have a firing squad being put together for the good major, maybe it can handle a second one while they are at it.

Unfortunately, I think this dude is not unlike a lot people who work within the Bureaucratic State. I think if the full scope of corruption and criminality was known throughout the federal government and it's related agencies we would see a situation arise in DC of mass social unrest.

No doubt enormous amounts in Medicare and Medicaid as well as defense budgets. And in political aspects of politicians and grift of foreign aid, domestic aid will get way over the trillion or two, way over what a couple Superdome s can hold
