I am trying to be a Christian (none of us are perfect), however, even though I took the vaccine, I neither push for it or against it. I do however oppose people being forced into taking. It is a personal decision, not a bureaucratic one.

It is a stretch though to call this the 'mark of the beast', although I can see it as a practice run.

The mass covering up of the rape of innocent children didn’t set off any alarms? He did say Christians in the op. This group couldn’t be further from Christianity.

I'm a little late jumping into this thread but let's get a baseline established for what constitutes a Christian.

The first requirement for a person to claim they're a Christian is they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and the ways of the fallen world are dead to them. Yes, as a Christian you must still navigate through this fallen world until the heavenly Father brings you home but you are not of this world. A Christian doesn't spend their precious time lusting for and chasing after the shiny and perishable possessions of this fallen world and above all you understand through Christ's teachings and the Holy Spirit's guidance/ presence that the slaughter/sacrifice of the unborn is an absolute abomination in the eyes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are many other godly attributes that most Christians share but the aforementioned is a solid baseline.

Now, as for Christians taking the vaccine, I have prayed on this matter 2-3 times and as of yet I have not received a answer on what I should do. Using my past prayer experience, if I don't get an answer it means the Lord is telling me to be patient, don't do anything yet. My personal opinion on the vaccine is pretty simple, if you believe the COVID19 vaccine is safe and effective and you have no religious issues with a MRNA based vaccine that used aborted fetal tissue during the development of the vaccine....take it. I say take the vaccine particularly if you are experiencing high anxiety and you're losing sleep.....peace of mind is an important aspect of a happy life.

I work for one of the largest defense companies in USA.

All but 1 person (at the site I work at) that submitted a religious exemption had their request granted this week.

Company will pay for testing for first 6 weeks and follow up with more information.

6. Can’t go into major grocery stores without the vaccine
7. Can’t go to any private businesses without the vaccine
What does defending the vaccine have to do with any of these? Right, nothing.

Great post Bass Tiger. I am a Christian (trying my best) in healthcare and I took the vaccine in June. My work was going to force me to take it but I waited until: A. I felt like it was relatively safe; and B. I thought it was effective.

What I saw was more and more people being vaccinated and the people getting admitted to our hospital were not vaccinated. If the vaccine didnt work then the vaccinated and unvaccinated populations should be getting admitted at their respective rates, but that wasnt (isnt) the case. Our admissions to the hospital are overwhelmingly unvaccinated.

As for your discussion about the aborted fetal tissue being used in the development of the vaccine: I had never really thought about that when trying to decide what to do. It just never crossed my mind. I think these were used in development and not in the actual vaccine itself, so hopefully if this was a sin the Lord will forgive me of this.

Also, I am 100% in the camp that this is a PRE-CURSOR to the Mark. No one is having to denounce their faith in Jesus to get the vaccine (like they would have to do to get the mark), which tells me this isnt it. BUT, it is paving the way for our government to be able to mandate the Mark in the future. This is a test-run to see how well it will be accepted in the future.

Its really simple to explain to a vaxxer. This time you agree with what they're pushing. Next time you might not.

It’s pretty clear that the mark would be the right hand or the forehead. This ain’t it. Precursors, maybe.

If you believe the Bible is the Word of God left to humanity as an instruction manual on how to live, why would you believe he would make it cryptic and hard to understand? Especially about a decision that would remove your salvation or your ability for salvation?

The Jesuits have taken control of Catholicism in full. We all know they are the evil Jesus spoke of. Them.

I entirely support Christians weighing the role of fetal cell lines in vaccine development.

I will say that those putting that topic front and center and emphasizing the importance of that question probably need to think long and hard about all of the things we buy, use, take, etc. that are derived in some way from sinful practice. On one hand, this is very much a "whataboutism", but on the other hand, I'm serious that we should probably think carefully about those things in all contexts and about whether or not that lineage (abortion or otherwise) should be a serious consideration for us.

Of course, that's from a Christianity perspective, and Christians are obviously welcome to refuse the vaccine for a host of other reasons, some good, some probably not very compelling.

Hell, UK...even if you take Religion out of it, it's still a slap in the face from people who want to force you to into their own Belief System. Their arrogance, sanctimony and intent to PROSECUTE/JAIL those who even CRITICIZE them, is enough to fight a war over.

It's like the "defund the Police" thing; the Left should well realize that Religion is the only reason they (their power) are still recognized. When Religious people set their 'religion' (turn the cheek) aside, for what amounts to a REAL ENSLAVEMENT of them and their children...hell will come to the doors of the attackers. And damn what the MSM 'spin'/narrative is on that.

They are playing with fire, in a room full of gas.

I don't think people defending the vaccine are in favor of mandates. Christian or otherwise. There are some hard line lefties that are in favor of mandates to be sure but I don't think they're that big in numbers

How can they not see how closely this resembles the book of Revelation?

Some people think that the tribulation has already occurred. Others think the tribulation has occurred but there will still be a Rapture (partial preterist). I have studied the Book of Revelation from probably 6 or 8 viewpoints (teachers). Probably no less confused now than before I started. I still haven't see anyone walking around with 666 on their foreheads other than nut jobs and few prisoners I encountered when I did prison volunteer work.

Right there with ya! I wrote a whole book about living off the land, starting from scratch. It looks like I will have to put it into practice sooner than I ever anticipated.
