More so Donald’s paid for Trumps endorsement like everyone does. And there was no way Fishback was winning this to begin with. He’s like a Beto.

take the arse kicking Fishback. What a whacko

The fact that he got the votes that he did could still be a bit troubling for Donalds though.

It's truly remarkable how bad the slate of nominees is for the GOP in another red state. What are these state GOP leaders doing to be this bad in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, etc? Democrats are bat shite crazy and now likely to win a lot of red states.

I forgot to vote.

Wasn't really excited about any of them anyway.

I think term limits are dumb.

I don't generally take much issue with Florida politics. I'm usually happy about how things go. I look more at federal government that erodes states rights and takes domestic issues away from states and centralizes it.

I would have rather voted for DeSantis again. Byron would have been my choice likely, and for sure would have been a few years ago. But I kind of think he's a sell out lately. And he easily won anyway as expected.

I don't even know who most of the smaller votes are for. It's the same names over and over. I do a little research on them but it's so vague it's not like I'm looking at any of them and thinking - Yeah, we need to get that person into office for sure.

And my congressman wasn't in this one for me to vote against.

Really disappointing that we will be going from one of the best conservative governors in history to whoever gets the nom (or David Jolly).

The MAGA establishment basically installed Donalds as the nominee. The good news it actually if/when Donalds bucks, DeSantis can primary his MAGA RINO arse in 2030.

Why do you believe that voting for Donalds is keeping Florida red? He is a RINO. Just like Ashley Moody.

When will we learn.

I live in Florida as well. I'm NPA (No Party Affiliation) so with Florida being a closed primary state I was locked out of the Republican Primary for Governor or Senate. I could go on all day about that and how primaries should be open, but alas I didn't vote.

My question for you is this, what is our choice? Vote for a Democrat to undo all the progress DeSantis made the last 8 years?

I'm not a fan of Donalds either, but I'll vote for him. I'm really not a fan of Moody, so I'll leave that spot blank as a protest vote, but I'll do that also knowing she'll still win easily. But I'm definitely not voting Democrat.

What are our choices? Don't like RINO's so we vote for a Democrat Socialist? I'm not a fan of RINO's either, but pretty much the worst RINO is still better than the most moderate Democrat.

If you're in Louisiana, did you note learn when you elect John Bel Edwards? How did that work out for Louisiana?

Same here, I wish we could keep DeSantis, but alas there's no way to outside of changing the state constitution.

I don't like Donalds, but I'm not particularly worried about him. I think he'll be a whole lot of nothing. Luckily with all the work DeSantis did, Donalds doesn't really. need to do much. Just don't do things to screw it up.

Term limits are absolutely necessary at the Federal level. I wish re-election outside of President wasn't a thing.

Representative - One 4 year term.
Senate - One 6 year term.
President - Maximum of two 4 year terms.

At the state level, I'm not as much against it. I mean if State House and State Senate representatives have no term limits, I don't think the Governor should.

I would be completely okay with strict term limits at the federal level, with far less or no term limits at the state level.

Vote for Donalds and then encourage DeSantis to primary his MAGA RINO arse in 2030.

To leave the ballot for Byron Donalds, Ashley Moody and (for me in FL-16) Sydney Gruters blank.

I am not enabling the RINO ruling class anymore.
