LOL. Anyon that thought Fishback and any f'ing chance does not know Florida. He was just in the way. Collins had a slim chance but thats it.

The primary for governor ended the day Trump aligned with the donors and backed Donalds.
No one in FL in 2026 is winning a primary who is opposed by Trump.
What we get from Donalds remains to be seen as voters but I expect it’s about what you’ve seen from other GOPe governors in SC, AL, etc.
The donors will be happy and make money, big business will thrive and the voters will get enough social issue wins to keep them happy.

I would post this story, but there would be a paywall. The Washington Post coverage of multiple races in the 2026 Florida primary was published this morning. The “journalists” involved were Matthew Choi, Teo Armus, and Praveena Somasundoram. (All looked just like you’d expect.). The article contained the following sentence: “… election will herald the end of DeSantis’s ironfisted leadership in Florida “. Now, that’s what I call unbiased and fair reportage.

I think they did to MAGA what they did to the Tea Party: capture it with money and remove the policies that are unpopular with the GOP donor class.
I didnt expect that to happen until Trump left office and retire, but it seems to be the current reality.

The scary thing is it's not just MAGA RINO politicians and donors and not just limited to Florida. Influencers are shoving candidates like Donalds, Vivek, and Vance down our throats like there is no tomorrow. Catturd, Posobiec, Michael Knowles, etc. Within the last week, Posobiec was mocking conservatives on who weren't happy with Donalds. Michael Knowles said on twitter that any criticism of Vance is anti-Catholic bigotry, when in reality it's conservatives are pissed that he's not a true conservative and is playing footsie with leftist talking points on the economy.
