Kenny is close with Landry. That’s literally all this is. Landry got him to do a drive by hit on Fleming.

Which I don't get because Landry isn't a fan of the pots.

I'm sure you're correct.

But Kenny's interview came off as childish. If he had taken a moment to prepare, he could have still done a "drive-by" using his brain and not his swinging dick. This is everything I hate about modern politics...if you can't score points on the merits, yell something stupid.

That’s because I think Cassidy is the best candidate

Fleming is too old
Letlow is not qualified

Our system favors longevity and Cassidy has that. Some have issues with his Trump impeachment vote but that’s immaterial to me.

So basically just a normal day for his pompous arse. I’ll be voting for Fleming Saturday.

And Covid nonsense, as well as some other betrayal votes.

Your opinion is worthless. If you can blow off a major betrayal like the impeachment, which was completely baseless, you basically have no soul.

Too bad Edwin Edwards isn't still around. You South Louisiana boys could elect that crook yet again, like you did 4 times for Governor.

I think Mr. Steve might be on his way out. They've been having a lot of rando 'best of' reruns recently. It feels like what was happening just before Walton died. They even had a guy sitting in for Johnson recently.

Plus, Steve missed a show about month or so ago and Kenny did the show solo. They said there was a medical emergency at Steve's house the night before where someone stopped breathing. Don't know if it was him or maybe his wife. But anyway, he's getting up there in age.

The show will die when he's gone.

How can you say that? Haven't you seen her latest TV ad where the stated reason we should all vote for her is because she is a mom? How dare you come on here and accuse her of having no kids.

He's been doing this for over 40 years. I have been listening about as long as he and John were on the air, but non continually. Steve is in his 60's, but he keeps in shape. John did not. Steve likes doing this, so I don't think he has any plans to quit anytime soon. But like you, he is the one that keeps the show going. When he goes, so does the show.

I think he said it was some relative of his.

I hope Billy Ed, Mr. Kenneth, and Mr. Eaux will continue the show if that happens. Maybe even without KW.

I still remember an Amos joke from maybe the mid-80's:

Lynn Gansar (a NOLA TV news personality from that time) was a young woman in college, looking for a job to make ends meet. She notices an ad in the school paper for a House Mom at a campus fraternity...so she visits the house to apply.

Frat guy asks the usual questions, and wraps up with "Well, Lynn, you might be a good fit. Just a couple more questions: Will you have any issue with loud, late night parties? Cause it can get kinda wild around here on a Saturday night."

"No, no problem at all" was her reply.

"And just one more question" asked the interviewer. "Have you ever been picked up by the fuzz?"

Lynn thought about it for a second and said "No, but I have been swung around by my boobs a few times."

I think he was 67 when Walton died, iirc. I think he's well into his 70's now.

Neither did John Walton.

I stopped listening about a year after Walton passed. Kenny just gets on my nerves. But the the show has ceased to be funny for a while. At least back in the good days there was no cow too sacred for them to try and slaughter. It was better when Billy Ed was picked on for being a redneck. Mr Kenneth would have his manhood questioned and O was somewhat intimidating. There were also other periodic characters like Walter Crankcase , the most crusted man in America from his oaken office. The Story Guy. Abdul Khamel Jockey at the 7/11.....Movie Ninja could be funny as well.

They always had a twinge of the political, now they are overly so and really not all that funny anymore.

I hate to hear that. I work nights and usually listen on my way home. I still listen but its not Walton anymore more. His delivery was very good. Kenney seems forced.

90's W&J was my favorite radio show of all time, even moreso than the Greaseman when I lived in DC in the 80's. I was pissed when they split up for a while.
