This is JBE's Democratic Party. He's thinking of ways to take your federal tax cut right now.

Libs act as if corporations aren't owned by people. That people don't receive salaries and dividend checks from the success of corporations.

There is not a finite amount of wealth in this country. It’s a global economy and both can benefit from each other.

If you seek employment this can benefit you, if you want to dabble in stocks this can benefit you. At the end of the day if you are getting a cut as well and can also benefit elsewhere why do you care that someone else is getting something too?

Why take a possible win - win as an L? Hate?

Dems have to appear unified. If they have a few that go off the reservation and actually voted for passage, there would be hell to pay.

Since forever.

What specifically in the bill do you think should have enticed them to vote for it?

Yep, and the REP Party, once mighty deficit hawks, add $$$ Trillions to the deficit w/o a blink of an eye.

We'll see what it does for middle class job opportunities/promotions, earnings/wage growth, personal savings/investments, etc. We'll see...

Democrat opposition to this bill is 100% driven by fear that it will WORK.

Make no mistake. The economy this year is pissing them the frick off.

If that shite continues into next year.......or 3..........they're going to commit collective suicide.

Trump invited them to the white house multiple times with them never showing. Were there "closed door" sessions with only R's? Yes. But the invitation was there, the Obstructionists decided not to take part.

Fair statement. So have job opportunities increased? In what sectors? Have wages increased? Investments increased by the middle class?

cant wait for the attempts to explain why in the 2018 elections. by then all the lies about no one gets a tax cut wont fly because everyone will have less deductions in paychecks and see how much lower taxes they are paying and the dims will have to explain why they were against having that happen

thats because this bill does absolutely dick for the middle class except for some frontend breaks that fade away with time.

so why lower the top rate when you could have kept the 2 percent and given that to the lower middle class.

why is carried interest kept for hedge fund manager's who already pay 14 percent effective rate on their profits. why not leave out carried interest and use the money for another few .10's of percent cuts for the middle class and lower tax brackets.

Agreed, but that will be the acid test in 2018. Not the stock market, not corporate profits, but how does that translate to the middle class.

This. The working middle class belongs to them. That is the democrats bread and butter. They are the party of the people and organized labor.

When this works, it's going to be really difficult in 2018 to convince those same people that this administration is evil. Armageddon is here, but it's the Democratic Party that's bursting into flames.
