The best thing a lot of people here can do is download Google Lens and run anything you see on social media through it. You can just take a screenshot of a video and with a few minutes figure out if most videos are legit.

To be fair, the Community Note wasn't there when this thread was posted. It was only recently added.
That said, this is a big part of the problem these days. Accounts that know a video is bullshite, old, outright fake, etc. will still post the shite to their account and purposefully mislead their followers for clicks. When that happens, the offending account should be blocked and never again trusted.
