Women voted for this. Let them deal with the consequences

I thought the same thing. Aren't some sororities really exclusive?

Kappa Kappa Gamma's national office did this - they updated their membership standards to read "open to women and those who identify as women."
This mentally ill man chose the University of Wyoming, who doesn't have cuts in their Panhellenic sororities to pull this stunt. You can't just look at this from an SEC sorority (where cuts can be ruthless - 70% or more cut in first round). Many schools where Greek Life exists but does not flourish have a "if you want to be in, you get in" rule, and Kappa opened it up to transgender men.
But legally, I don't see anyway around it because of the liberal women at the national office. By the way, here are the CPC sororities that have in their charter that trans can be members
Alpha Chi Omega
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Delta Delta Delta
Delta Gamma
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Delta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Sigma Sigma Sigma
Zeta Tau Alpha
Yet, one trans in a remote state. Funny how they picked that one. Try that at Ole Miss or Alabama.

What kind of a loser do you have to be to force an organization to allow you be a member, knowing nobody wants you there?

And that's part of the reason that I wouldn't beat the guy up if my daughter were in that sorority.
The other reason is that I think sororities (and fraternities) are distracting nonsense when students should be focused on school. And also they breed a toxic culture.

Sororities at least down South operate a little different. They make the determination largely before they ever formally pledge....sometimes before rush even starts. But once you are in, it is rare that girls are ever cut...especially if the have a rec from a key alumnae
Fraternities will take in #s and then cut or ball them through the semester. I knew one that balled the little brother of a former officer in the fraternity.

Not if she has the right recs from the right alumni.

I should have run this scam when I was at LSU.

A judge that cannot determine the difference in a man versus a woman is incompetent.
Posted on 8/25/25 at 12:27 pm to L.A.
I guess these judges are applying Plessy vs Ferguson to men and women now. I hope they keep this dumb shite up. Its only polarizing normal thinking people to not vote for D's even though this judge was appointed by Regan.

Why can't the Supreme Court rule that scientifically. their are only 2 genders. Other than freak births where one is born with both sex organs. End this mental illness now.
Congress is the one who can and should do this. Define biological sex and just strike "gender" out of all federal laws. "Gender" doesn't do any useful work in the law and it opens the door to all this nonsense.

quote:The sorority needs to implement a policy of no new members until this gets a review by SCOTUS (if they accept it). A SCOTUS ruling that "woman is solely defined as an adult person having two X chromosomes. Anything else is not a woman." would go a LONG way towards resolving this madness.
In the meantime all the girls should resign from the sorority and let the guy sit there by himself.

I think this story is at least 1 or 2 years old. As mentioned, Nationals pushed for this and the President went along (sure something was promised). From what I remember it was either a secret vote on this dude and not a full chapter vote or anyone voting against this person would be removed from the Chapter and National Sorority. Dude got in then proceeds to show up at the house (does not live there) watching the girls get dressed and being a super creep. A couple of the girls filed a lawsuit and here we are.

Sure brings holy hell in my house.

I don’t understand why we can’t take the legal position that a woman is a biological female as designated at birth.
