Some of those countries, like Venezuela, don't want their hardened criminals back, and no other country wants them either, certainly not to loose upon their own population as was done here. The Alien Enemies Act does not specify where they should go other than "out of the territory of the United States"

Well, if the origin countries don't take them back then I say it's fair game to detain them as we please.

Everybody should have known a long time ago that any move Trump or his Admin would make would be challenged and stopped by the Federal Judiciary.

No need to get upset at something that all reasonably astute people knew would happen.

Trump is all alone. Congress is not going to help him. The Federal Judiciary is against him. Most of his own Executive Branch wants him out of office.

We all knew it would be like this.

Straight to the SCOTUS, where Roberts, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and ACB will once again ignore the Constitution and fail America.

This judge is an idiot. They are supposed to rule on the constitutionality of the law. Not their feelings.

Good Lord.

At this juncture, they are supposed to rule upon the propriety of injunctive relief ... which includes the element of "irreparable damage."

Ruling upon "constitutionality" is months down the line.

They should be unseated.

So... if it's okay to unseat these judges who rule against a President we like, it is also okay to unseat judges who rule against Presidents the twaddle headed liberals like?

Good Lord. Arresting someone for ANYTHING will cause "irreparable damage". So we let them run free and any "Irreparable damage " they cause while running loose is just what?

There's a law on the books. Either what the President is doing is legal, or it is not.

If judges wish to legislate then they need to resign and run for Office.

In a case of wartime, invasion or predatory incursion, as proclaimed by the President, the element of "irreparable damage" to the public safety outweighs the element of "irreparable damage" to alien enemies. Uncounted people (because our news media goes out of their way to avoid reporting their status and many don't get caught) in this country have already suffered irreparable damage at the hands of illegal alien criminals, and many more will in the future.

The Alien Enemies Act gives great latitude to the President, to wit: "The President is authorized in any such event, by his proclamation thereof, or other public act, to direct the conduct to be observed on the part of the United States". That is a direct assignment of powers to the president allowing him/her to act rapidly in such an event to ensure public safety and national security. Injunctive Relief, if allowed in such a matter, gives judges the power to thwart the timely use of that Presidential power and thus risk the public safety and potentially the nation itself. There are limits on the powers of judiciary too, especially the lower courts, and they may well have been exceeded in this case.

Where in the constitution do we find a single district court judge holding this kind of power over executive branch policy?

I still don't understand why any president would give these retards the time of day.

Article 3?

Article 3 provides for Congress to create inferior courts and "defining the jurisdiction of federal courts" - point me to the law where congress gave a single federal district court judge veto power over the chief executive.
