All these holdovers from the most transparent administration ever sure seem to have a lot they don’t want seen.

I see you were out sick the day they taught civics in Civics class.

They apparently taught spelling that day too.

We will. Rosenstein is more than willing to argue to protect the investigation.

Fbi and doj are all about protecting themselves. They refuse to be held accountable to anyone... especially congress.

From oversight? What do Page and Strzok's texts have to do with "protecting" the witch hunt?

You seem all in on Rosenstein.

Just as good a ship to go down on as any, I guess.

Trump would likely look to Sessions to dispatch the Marshals

I agree. The possibility Bill Sessions would agree to dispatch FM's is highly unlikely. I lost all hope (and trust) in Sessions when he recused himself. The moment Sessions recused himself I knew he was part of the culture in Washington.

Anyway, someone has to step in and exert some authority and enforcement. IMO POTUS is the chief law enforcement officer in the United States as defined in the U. S. Constitution. The ball falls in his court.

Botton line, laws have been broken, judges deceived, people lied, there are indications people (at least one) died. Like I said, we're dealing with a rogue agency.

Not good.

This is a HUGE moment in this nation’s history...pivotal is an understatement. If this is allowed to continue and they win, we are done.

I’m near the mindset that Trump use JSOC to start detaining every rogue FBI/CIA employee that continues to break the law and subvert lawful orders.

The USA in 2018 has some characteristics of a Totalitarian Police Staat. I am of the opinion that once the nation-state organism is infected with this disease that it is incurable and will kill the nation-state eventually.

If Sessions had at least one nut, these SOBs would already be indicted and headed for jail. Sessions is starting to look like either a pathetic weak person or part of the corrupt Deep State.

certain officials within FBI are in violation of the law as it applies to Congressional oversight of the agency. President Trump should be able to dispatch Federal Marshals to "cuff'em and stuff'em"

I like it - This DOJ needs to be cleansed from top to bottom - certainly down to mid-level supervision. Every one of them should have their security clearances revoked until their behavior over the past ten years has been thoroughly vetted.

Anyone else think that surveying the personal devices / accouns of Strzok and Page will leave a trace right back to Meuller, ?

I'm not sure if the FBI can be compelled to go after these messages. Not sure the FRA was written with that in mind back then. But the FRA and FOIA need overhauls. These govt officials use fake accounts to skirt around collection requirements all the time. We'll either have to make collection onerous or punishment onerous. Collection will run up against privacy concerns.

All that being said, if Sessions had any balls, he'd be able to get warrants for all of this, particularly since there's a strong presumption these two would have shared classified information.

Sadly, unless he is playing some sort of inter-galactic underwater, 37D chess, I am turning to the opinion that he is one of "them" = more interested in protecting the 'reputation' of the institution than he is in protecting the constitution.

I'm not yet entertaining the idea that he has malicious intent to destroy Trump, but it would not take much to push me over than logical cliff.

There is a simple fix to all of this. Go to their boss, Donald J Trump and say look in order for all of these investigations to reach a conclusion, the FBI and DoJ need to start cooperating. Then step back and watch Trump start shite canning people until the message is crystal fricking clear that you will start cooperating and you will do so immediately. I’d start with this cock sucker Mr Thorely

Here is what I think : Sessions already has everything he needs, but he is waiting, and seeing who will keep digging their hole even deeper.

You can't just shitcan these people, you need them to still be employed by the government when they commit their crimes.

This could be true and if so, it is a colossal misreading of reality. The reputations of these two organizations are already besmirched and only a public outing of the wrongs committed will restore them.

I agree. Simple fix. Unfortunately, this is Washington,D.C. Things ceased to be simple in that town going all the way back to the administration of Woodrow Wilson.
