So the FBI can make any one of us give up all our electonics in order to find incriminating evidence on us but the FBI doesn't require the same of their own employees? How wrong is that?

quote:

An FBI official says the bureau is not working to collect messages between anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, despite the request to do so from a top Republican senator as well as evidence suggesting they communicated about “work-related” matters on non-FBI accounts.

In a letter this week to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Charles Thorley, the acting assistant director of the FBI’s office of congressional affairs, said FBI employees are “required to adhere to record keeping policies in place where communications constitute records under the Federal Records Act.”

But Thorley said “the FBI is not otherwise obligated to collect and/or retain all communications between its employees.

Appears the FBI doesn't have to honor the wishes of the people we elect to represent us. That ain't right.

The FBI would have more credibility right now if it was being ran by Little Guido and Tracy Smothers.

"We have it all."

Why do you think she "resigned?"

After the Cohen raid it is obvious that the hypocrisy of the Deep State knows no bounds.

Congress should slash the FBI's budget.

Jeff? Jeff Sessions? Do you agree with this practice? Are you supporting this wall of resistance?

Again, this is where Mr.Magoo should be able to step in and order a criminal investigation, or a 2nd SC investigation, but the bumbling imbecile recused.

So instead Rosenstien, who along with Strozk-Page is up to his eyeballs in this sewer, is slow-walking everything he possibly can. As Rosenstein is far more conflicted than Sessions ever was, yet will not recuse, Sessions absolutely could step in and appoint a second SC to further empower ongoing OIG work. It would be the right thing to do.

But Mr.Magoo is ... well ... Mr.Magoo.

Looks like we got ourselves a rogue agency. So how do we fix the impasse? Simple, hold them in Contempt of Congress. Then if they continue to refush to deliver the documents consult with the President of the United States (the honorable Donald J. Trump) and advise him certain officials within FBI are in violation of the law as it applies to Congressional oversight of the agency. President Trump should be able to dispatch Federal Marshals to "cuff'em and stuff'em".

What we have here is a failure to communicate.

Like I said, simple fix.

I agree but I suspect it will have the same impact and result as the contempt of Congress imposed on eric holder.

Should any of this play out as described then Trump would likely look to Sessions to dispatch the Marshals and we probably shouldn't get our confidence level to high.

They are trying to grab dirt, so that when the OIG Report frames many of them as 'criminal', they can say that everybody does it. That dog won't hunt.

There is a simple fix to all of this. Go to their boss, Donald J Trump and say look in order for all of these investigations to reach a conclusion, the FBI and DoJ need to start cooperating. Then step back and watch Trump start shite canning people until the message is crystal fricking clear that you will start cooperating and you will do so immediately. I’d start with this cock sucker Mr Thorely

Separation of power: an act of vesting the legislative, executive, and judicial powers of government in separate bodies.

Just a friendly fyi: FBI is NOT a co-equal branch of government, nor is DOJ; they BOTH fall under the executive branch.
Your post really speaks to one of the core reasons we find ourselves with such a swamp in D.C.: rogue agencies who think they are separate and co-equal branches of government on par with executive, judicial, and legislative branches. They believe they are above the law, and thus above oversight. We'll see about that.

Call the head of the FBI into the oval office and tell him you want those released to congressional oversight unredacted immediately.

If he says anything but yes sir, thank him for his service and you accept his resignation effective right now.
