The COVID-15...Bill Maher (HBO)

No wonder our death rate is so high. The media isn't talking about this because it would be "fat shaming" but it stands to reason that we've got 60K deaths more than any other country, because most other countries aren't sitting on the fat asses watching reality TV shows.

ETA: 3x more likely if you believe this

Fundamentalists here hate Maher, but he’s fantastic at roasting the woke anti science liberals that plague the left. I would agree that he used to be a lot funnier pre trump

It is BEYOND AMAZING how unavailable data is when describing those who have succumbed to this virus.

There has got to be reasons for the sound of Crickets

Well, that's cuz' he's a lying piece of dog zhit who is partially responsible for perpetuating Cancel Culture with his relentless false attacks on Conservatives, but hey....

It’s true

Talk to anyone that has been involved in handling hospitalizations and they’ll tell you that obesity is an underlying factor

Obesity isn’t always just a diet and exercise issue tho

I’m fat (6’1, 260), sit in my insurance agency 12 hrs/day, drinker, other vices, have Lyme disease...tested positive for it, and it was literally nothing more than a 24 hr fever. Quarantined for two weeks was the worst part.
Wife caught it too.

This is all bullshite.

I saw an odd thing this morning. I went to a golf course that never never has masks. None of the players, none of the employees in the clubhouse. But today there was a group of 20 middle aged black players who all showed up with masks.

Now, I've seen that older blacks in the grocery wear masks. But I also saw that all of these guys were very over weight. I see some overweight white guys there all the time and they never wear masks.

Read an article on how prevalent secondary causes are for death with Covid. New Hampshire had over 4000 deaths, but only 75 without secondary causes.

If we weren’t actively looking for this, most deaths would be attributed to poor health choices leading to pneumonia infection. Public policy has been hijacked by a gas lighting out of control media and the fully gullible believing anything told to them.

Is the average age of death still over 86 for the virus?

Fines per pound? Arrests? Executions?

What should Fauci be proposing here?

A friend has a relative working for Harris county in houston. Worst Covid cases are consistently obese with diabetes and low vitamin D.

It isn't always a diet and exercise issue but most of the time it is. I'm amazed when I go to an SEC football game (name the stadium, doesn't matter) how many freaking enormously fat people there are. It's insane how many obese people are in the south. I don't know how they take it. Even at 6'2' 190lbs I feel like if I get up around 200 it starts taking a toll. A few times in my life when I've been slightly up over 200lbs and I feel like complete shite. All the inflammation and joint pain alone is worth getting down to a decent weight.

I firmly believe I would be dead had I not got my shite together in late January. I went from 328 lb to now I am at 236 lb. And I’m not stopping. Going to get down to around 210. I didn’t know what exactly was coming, but I woke up one day and told myself I would die very soon if nothing changed. COVID would have gotten me for sure.

If my lazy, no will power having self can do this, there are no excuses. We need to get our shite together as a nation.

Amazingly, my fatigue, body aches, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and high cholesterol are all gone now.
