The father of a teenage girl who killed a student and teacher at a Christian school in Madison, Wis., in December has been arrested and criminally charged.
Jeffrey Rupnow, 42, was charged with two felony counts of intent to sell a dangerous weapon to a person under 18 and one felony count of contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Rupnow’s daughter, 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, opened fire on Dec. 16, 2024, at Abundant Life Christian School, killing a teacher and a 14-year-old student before killing herself. Six others were injured in the shooting.
According to a criminal complaint, Rupnow told police he had given his daughter two handguns as gifts and gave her the access code to his firearm safe. He also said the teenager became interested in guns after he took her shooting on a friend’s land.
Rupnow is the latest parent of a school shooter to face charges associated with an attack. Last year, the parents of Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley were convicted of involuntary manslaughter in their role in the attack that killed four students and injured seven others in 2021.
All charges against Rupnow are punishable by up to six years in prison each. He is scheduled for a court appearance on Friday. LINK

When can we start charging parents of gang members that commit crimes? Can teachers charge parents of kids that assault them? Can victims charge AG’s that refuse to charge violent offenders and judges that release criminals due to political reasons?

Don't remember hearing about this one.
Is it because a real girl shot up a bunch of Christians, or is this another tranny killing Christians?

Everyone knows exactly why that won't happen. The wrong color parents.

I’m giving my 18 y/o daughter a pistol before she goes off to college this year, but I am 110% certain she’s not a f-up. I’d rather she and/or I face gun charges than she become another murder or rape victim.

slippery slope.....
you can give the same child a drivers car to use and results could be just as bad.....
however, a responsible parent doesnt just give a 15 year old the keys to the car without restrictions...but a hormonal 15 year old female is not the best person to give guns to store in their room nore access to gun safe.....
i dont thing this is as much neglect as it is nieviety on the part of the father.... he has paid enough, he lost his daughter and has to live with this the rest of his life

that's not the same.
those gang members under 18 in NYC, Chicago are not carjacking and killing people with firearms given to them by their parents. They get their guns by stealing them, under the table or another adult gave to them.

They can charge civilly along with the kids criminally. Most are pressured by the school district not to. My students knew I wouldn’t hesitate to throw them in jail if they laid a finger on me.

Well, there's an example of FA/FO.
When the kids were all still in the house, I had no less than 12 pistols and around 10 rifles in safes, and not one single kid had access. Yes, we took them all shooting and they all love firearms of every sort, but it's irresponsible to allow unabated access to firearms for children.
