Illegal is illegal.
We can't start making exceptions for everything.
Once you go down the exceptions wormhole it grows and grows. Similar to the tax code.

My heart breaks for the Marine and his family. That must be extremely difficult.
The law is the law. I would feel bad for kids separated from their parents if their parents went to jail for breaking the law, too, but how a person feels doesn’t change the reality of law-breaking and it’s consequences.
I hope the parents are OK and the son can see them again soon.

They're really swinging for the fences on finding boo-hoo stories.
ETA - This is how you know they're losing the PR battle with all of these hairy-legged bitches in Portland, etc.

Hmmmmmm, my mom and dad had the same last name. Why didn't these? Could it be they were avoiding legal documents situations, that would have flagged them tears ago?

So illegal foreign nationals can access our military installations? That's not ideal.
Yeah, that's my biggest takeaway here.

As a former Marine Officer I would light this dumbass up. The parents have been here +20 years and couldn’t take the time to become citizens. The kid could become a Marine and couldn’t tell his folks to do the right thing. I have no pity for these free loading parasitic fricks.

When I used to go play golf on Ft Polk, all they would do was check my ID. You can get a DL in Cali even if you are illegal. These people probably used the ID they should never have been issued by a sanctuary state to get onto the base. That's why states allowing illegals to get IDs or DLs is dangerous.

You can visit them in their home country.
That's a good point thats never addressed in these stories. The liberals try to portray it like once someone is deported they disappear off the face of the planet. No, that person still exists they're just back in their own country, often the exact same places these same liberals are offended at being called shitehole countries. Interesting how all these foreign countries are so great whenever conservatives criticize them but at the same time its basically a death sentence for illegals to be sent back to them.

It really amazes me when Americans posts shite like this!
Trump said all illegals must go!
We will start with the worst and work our way down!
No illegal has the right to be in this country, period!!
You knew when you entered this country illegally, that one day you might get caught, well that was the day for them!
Sorry, not sorry

I posted that before finding out they are Mexican.
Literally next door. I have even less sympathy now.

They had a quarter of a century to get their goddamn papers.
It sucks, but this is solely on them.

Most illegals that are here for long periods of time have fake documentation, that usually belongs to someone else. Which is a felony - likely multiple felonies.
I put that a good deal behind pedophiles, rapists, murderers, gang members and drug dealers.

We are a Nation of Laws. Those Laws must be followed, or we fail.
This is the same Liberal argument of someone robbing a bank in order to feed their family. Somehow motive is suppose to just erase the crime.
They have had ample time to do the right thing.
