re: Father of US Marine arrested & deported after visiting pregnant daughter at military base

Unless I misread this, they were detained after trying to gain entry to the base. I would assume they have the same process we have at Fort Leonard Wood, MO where each person’s ID is scanned to see if they have any outstanding criminal history. With Leonard Wood being a training facility, we have a lot of families trying to get on post. If someone has a warrant out for their arrest, they are detained and the local police are called. This is just a guess on my part, maybe the parents tried to gain access and were detained because they had a flag on their record

Someone said your son-in-law came into the country illegally. Is that true?

He (the Marine son) described them as hardworking, law-abiding members of their community with no criminal record, who washed cars and cleaned houses to get by.
When can I pick up my donuts you owe me??
Washing cars and houses for cash under the table, never contributing but taking plenty.

You would believe these dipshits. Lying is about the only tool in their box.
No, he's a legal resident. 3rd generation.

It just seems like there are some extenuating circumstances in this case which creates a little wiggle room for the dad to get his visa work done (his son said he started the green card process when his dad was detained)
They had 30 years. They waited until Trump was in office and started deporting people. He never took it seriously until he was forced to. He was very happy to work for cash and never contribute but proudly sent his kids to public schools and used other resources.
His son being a Marine doesn't suddenly negate any of that.

Are you talking about Marines?

No. That's why I asked before throwing out the accusation. I had never seen you mention it so I was giving you the benefit to clear it up and you did.

If you are in the country illegally. You need to go. I don't care what thermir sob story is.

If they both were working for MTG's construction company they would still be here.

These illegals had an anchor baby who turned into a Marine. Good for them.
Guess because this one turned out to be a Marine, we should turn our heads and keep letting illegals come here and have more anchor babies.

Yeah, to me, it kinda does...
Both my grandfathers were marines in ww2.
I’m not free to commit crimes without consequence because my grandfathers saved the world.

What about all of the other anchor babies who are net negatives along with their parents? Should I be grateful for them too?

It’s hard for me to feel sorry for someone who abused the system for SO long. My conscience would not have allowed me to do that. And I find it strange for so many people to NOT want to fight for their own land. Their own place in the world. Where are the brave and courageous ones? Don’t any of them have a sense of pride and dignity? It’s just really bizarre to me to live as thieves and imposters without even trying to fight for what’s yours first. And yes, they are thieves. They aren’t paying taxes and WE are paying for them

Thank you for your service, unless your parents are illegal aliens, then frick you, you're nothing but vaginal discharge.

Is this story about the kid or the illegal parents?
You are making it about the kid. I am saying what the kid does or doesn't do has no bearing on the fact they were here illegally for 30 years, draining resources.
You are being emotional and wanting to give the parents a pass because the son is a Marine. The story was written exactly to tug the heartstrings of emotionally retarded people like you

Sorry, but this is the recruiter or The Marine Corp's fault as well. Much like the farmer who employs illegal aliens, they should have vetted this guy's citizenship.

Also, this is a great argument for Trump against the birthright for illegals
Are you a dumbass? They might grow up to be marines is a great argument?

“I just kept on looking at my parents. I didn’t know if it would be the last time I’d see them,” the young Marine said.
Is there a reason you can't fly to Mexico? The Navy deported me to Italy for 3.5 years. I still managed to see my family.
