I don't really care whether a backwater school board recites the Pledge of Allegiance before meetings, but board member Seth Holden needs to grow a pair and stop worrying about needless stupidity.

Wasn’t “under God” added to the Pledge relatively recently, during the Cold War? Don’t think it was part of the original Pledge.

Are we living in the 1960's? No? How about we deal with today's bullshite then? We have been reciting the pledge with "under God" for generations. people like you want it changed or abolished from the public sphere. Funny how your comrades are the very ones who think public schools should provide a place and time for muslims to pray at school.

Any cursory reading of our Holy books demonstrates that God of the Old and New Testaments is NOT allah as described in Muslim scripture.

So many wrong points. One, Islam claims to worship the one true God (Allah - which by the way is Arabic for God not Islam as Islam is a religion not a language). That God’s expectations per the Koran are really quite different than the Judeo-Christian God who fathered Jesus Christ.
I would argue most Islamists worship their prophet Muhammad more so than God based on their actual actions. A prophet who was a child bride rapist, a prophet who stole, a prophet who pretty much had few redeeming qualities except being able to gather followers.
