I'm not going to accuse him of anything that can't be proven but the selective outrage on this board is laughable, particularly when people reach on what they label insults or attacks.

These same hypocritical fricks are absolutely giddy that RGB is in the Hospital. They also cheered when McCain died of a super painful kind of cancer. Lol human decency get the F out of here

Seriously call a lawyer now. Don't sit there and allow some incompetent doctor to refuse medication that could potentially save their life.

The hospital refuses
The hospital, or the doctor? If the doctor prescribes it, the hospital can't refuse it. If the doctor refuses it, hire another doctor.

Soory to hear. Bet though they will pump full of Remdisivir if you can fork over 3200.00 a dose.

Why would they not try? From my understanding the way they got things under control at University is because they DID use HCQ at the height.

Post more. I enjoy your views but I love the dog's expression in your avatar. I chuckle every damn time I see it. My wife loves it as well. Granted we are dog people but how could anyone not love that expressive canine?

Does the right to try act not require the Docs to give it to them? I was kinda counting on that.

I think WHO and CDC pressured the FDA to pull the EUSA (Emergency Use Authorization Act). Some of the reason for this was an article in Lancet that was pulled within a week for bad methods. I have never seen an article pulled and I have been reading journals for a while.

Is that the article on the study where the HCQ dose was too high, like approaching LD50?

Didn’t Trump pass right to try? How does that not apply here.

Sorry to hear that about your family member.

I’m having a great deal of success with convalescent plasma/remdesivir/dexamethasone/tociluzimab in my severely ill patients. Far fewer patients getting tubed and more who do get intubated surviving to come off the vent. I haven’t had a single severely ill patient who died yet who received all 4, though I may have my first in the next few days sadly.

I know it’s not what you want to hear right now, but I hope you don’t lose sleep over them not getting HCQ. There’s no quality evidence it works, especially at the stage of disease you’re talking about.

Force the hospital to send them to another hospital even if you have to go out of state. IF they do not comply get a good lawyer and file a law suit immediately.

That’s not how it works

First, the patient has to be stable for transfer as deemed by both the accepting and transferring facility. A patient dying of COVID19 in the ICU may very well be too unstable to transfer.

Second, a facility has to be willing to accept the patient and willing to offer alternative therapies. No reputable ID or ICU physician is going to offer HCQ to a critically ill patient, especially that far into the disease course.

Finally, >95% of medical malpractice/wrongful death lawsuits are unjustified and go nowhere. And the hospital always has better lawyers than you do.

You’re off your farking rocker if you think democrats are secretly controlling what medicines the hospital physicians will prescribe, with the goal of the conspiracy being to kill your family member. Seriously, you need help.
