They label it as false. . . .but listen to the reason:

quote:

However, if we compare the closing price before the ad with the day Matt Walsh sent his tweets ($64.96) the difference was only $3 billion.

This doesn't change the thrust of the claims dramatically. In fact, as of Wednesday, April 12, 2023, the share price closed at $63.38, a reduction in Anheuser-Busch's market cap of $5 billion since March 31, 2023.

At the time of writing, on April 14, the share price is $64.34.

He said $4 billion, but that is false because it is between $3 and $5 billion????

I mean. . . what?

quote:

However, suggesting Mulvaney's involvement in the company caused the $4 billion decrease is a matter of opinion.

The Dylan Mulvaney shite was literally the next day

5% isn't a major hit.

If it went down 20% people who only care about money and DGAF about trannies and social issues would buy it right back up.

Fact checkers just want to make post show up as false . Most people are not going to read why it’s false . It’s just a way to silence things they don’t want everyone to know.

Share prices are going to fluctuate until the earnings report. If this is really causing a big drop in sales, then it’ll show up there and then the stock price will take a hit.

Not the point

They are saying it is false to say it lost $4 billion in cap value. . .because the number is really between $3-$5 billion

Really dumb move by AB to do this when there are countless other shitty beers available at the same price.

You don't really know at this point, the market move is all speculative.

Once sales results come and show a pull back, you will know what the loss is YOY due to this.

You might be figuring out fact checkers job is not to check facts, their job as a 3rd party "independent" is to push a narrative.

Nevermind these companies make shitloads of money from the very companies they are fact checking.

They should be called fact-spinners

When you see an actual CEO of a huge publicly traded company panicked and publicly spinning like a top over an issue, that tells you many times more than any “fact checker” could ever hope to tell you.

The hit won’t show up until Q2 earnings report which is in another 3 months. However, it will be very interesting to hear on the Q1 call, how they changed the guidance for Q2 and if they address this issue to the share holders

This is anecdotal but I was eating lunch at a bar and grill yesterday and got a miller lite and the bar tender said they were “almost out.” He went on to say that they had sold one bud light in the past week. This was in the democrat stronghold of Atlanta by the way. My point being that it’s about to get worse for AB.

We were at the beach during Spring Break, the word is out in the heartland. It was obvious when I went to buy beer what wasn’t selling.

Memorial Day and July 4th periods will be very telling for them.

I do think most people either don’t know or will forget, but it’s fair to say they will realize a noticeable loss of share.

Doesn’t impact me, I never drank anything A-B anyway, but I did switch from Miller to Yuengling. To others’ point - the beers are interchangeable.

Don't think it matters because it is only stock price and not a long term "loss of value".

Going to be a different story when actual sales and profits take a hit. This is when companies don't hit earning targets/projections. That is the point where the rubber meets the road.

A company like Anheuser-Bush is a huge ship and it has forward momentum. Once that momentum starts to swing it is very difficult and painful to correct course. They haven't really felt the swing yet... this is all media shite.

A true day of reckoning if large numbers of people move away from their products for more than a week or two.

It will be a major hit if earnings weaken. BUD doesn't report earnings until May 4th. So the ex-CIA guy will have a little grace period. Over the next week they'll continue to play it cool, and act like the episode is no big deal. But in May, if BUD earnings fall short, those "people who only care about money and DGAF about trannies" will take their money elsewhere just as quickly as they can snatch it.

Seems like this is getting worse for Anheuser-Bush.

And…I don’t buy it that enough people don’t know or care. Everyone has a cell and they are all sending out those hilarious gifs and memes making fun of Bud Light.
