Progs want jobs but they don't want jobs, they want immigration but as long as it doesn't affect them. They hate oil and gas but fly all over the world bitching about oil and gas.. make up your fricking minds already...stand still so we can finish picking your party apart.

That's so not true. Liberals want jobs for everyone. Glad the govt balled those lazy working class workers out again. Weren't smart enough to innovate and make their own way? Or too lazy to get off their arse and make their own way? Why should this class get a pass while others don't ?

We just don't want jobs that comprise our earth and all of us. Trumplicans mindless and short sighted pursuit of a cheap buck will lead to our quick demise. Life isn't a zero sum game. It's probably why so many of their have mental health, opioids, addiction, and suicide issues-- basing your life on material things never works out well because you can always have them stripped from you. Because of our economic system, no one is immune to the grips of capitalism and automation.

Except oilfield workers, coal miners, factories and steel mills that use coal fired boilers, Paper Mills that burn black liquor, oil refinery workers, etc.

Wtf are you talking about? The working class is lazy? Not the poors who collect government issued checks from my tax dollars? The working class gets bailed out by the government? Not the poors who have multiple kids they can't afford, cells phones they didn't buy, or the healthcare I'm being forced to pay for while they get a discount rate? I think you ingested too many liberal lucky charms buddy. Take a timeout for a while and think about things. It will be OK.

ETA - I know you are far off in liberal fantasy land, but do you know how many engineering, HSE, sales, management, HR, and marketing jobs there are in manufactoring and oil and gas?

I was hoping they would get the steel for the pipelines from revitalized steel plants in OH and PA. Put people back to work.

Or could it possibly be that the climate of the federal government towards manufacturing and production jobs is shifting to a positive direction? Is it really so far fetched that an administration that wants jobs to come back is actually doing things to entice jobs to come back?

Finally some actual positive news about the economy, not these fake, I mean, adjusted numbers from the last 8 years and the left just wants to crap on them. No wonder middle America said f you

Exxon Mobil Corp. is spending $20 billion through 2022 to expand its chemicals and fuel-making capacity in Texas and Louisiana to transform U.S. shale oil and natural gas into products for growing consumer markets in Asia.

After decades of siting new plants to make plastics, industrial chemicals and motor fuels close to feedstock sources and end markets in the Middle East and East Asia, the shale boom is spurring Exxon to steer construction dollars back to its home country, Chief Executive Officer Darren Woods said in remarks prepared for the CERAWeek energy conference in Houston on Monday.

The plans answer a call by President Donald Trump for American companies to boost the number of U.S.-based jobs, and the White House immediately released a statement from Trump praising the announcement. The 11 new chemical, refining and LNG projects on the Gulf Coast will create 45,000 jobs, many of which will pay an average of $100,000 a year, Woods said.
