I would bet he was hired by a contractor not the school. Such a terrible situation. Worst nightmare.

That’s not the murderer. That is his brother Diego. Diego got a job at a dining hall using a fake green card. When asked by UGA dining services for additional documentation that he couldn’t produce, they fired him immediately. Diego never received a paycheck from UGA. Diego has since been arrested again (on Friday) and being held for a deportation hearing since he claimed asylum.
The POS murderer had nothing to do with campus and lived off campus. UGA should not be sued for a murder. They have cameras up along that trail, blue call boxes along that trail, etc. it’s how they found him so quickly.
If anything, the family should sue ICE and the DOJ and DHS for allowing this fricker into our country.

If you hire illegals, your business ought to be either shut down or taxed so hard that it’s restrictive to hire them.

No one said he was fired immediately. He wasn’t arrested until a Sherrif’s deputy approached him because he fit the description.
