The crackdown on illegal immigration doesn’t benefit corporate bigwigs, the “elite,” or wealthy individuals - it benefits the low and middle class, the legal immigrants, and the poverty stricken.

Why are Dems against it again?

Shut down ICE is as fricking stupid as saying shut down the police.

I guess for liberals that is where they are at in 2018. Heck they have been against police since Obama's second term.

For some odd reason they demand respect for spies and the FBI though.

These are the same folks who used to proudly claim that deportations were at record levels when Obama was in office. They knew it was a lie, a misdirection, fudging the numbers, etc but now they want to abolish ICE?

The Left's bread and butter is identity politics. Without a boogeyman to make an enemy of, they would have to run on actual job performance and/or how they would make the economy better. The Trump economy is stomping arse so that's a non-starter for them. The last time the nation was under complete Democrat rule (the Presidency and both chambers of Congress) we saw the debt double in just four years (it took the previous President eight years to double the debt from when he took offices, but even the total debt acquired during those eight years did not equal to what the Democrats ran up in just four), so that's out as well.

Demagoguery is all they truly have right now.

These are the same liberals that want the government to institute a $15 min wage yet bitch that the cost of kale will go up because illegals are paid peanuts to work the crops.
