How many games have been in Canada and Mexico?

13 each between groups and knockouts.
The overwhelming majority of games are in the US.

Never really paid any attention to soccer. Had no idea the World Cup lasted this long.

I went to Toronto several years ago and the streets were clean enough to eat off of. Everyplace we went into was spotless. It amazing how quickly bad policy can ruin a city.

Growing up, Toronto was always considered the pinnacle of Canadian urban living. Clean good architecture lots to do. Seems like in the last 15 years. the whole city is just gone to hell.
Kind of like most cities in the west. Weird.

What the media won't talk about with regard to Canada-
quote:
Canada rejected more than half of nearly 17,000 World Cup visitor visa applications, with an overall approval rate of about 41% and significant differences in approval rates between countries such as Ghana and Colombia
quote:
To make matters more confusing, Colombia had no group stage games scheduled to play in any of the Canadian venues!

I went when LSU played at Syracuse. While there, a homeless guy shite in an elevator, some Iranian protesters attacked the Police, and the food was not very good at all for such a large city. Perhaps it is better now.
On the plus side, it was pretty clean, the Lakeshore is beautiful, I didn’t feel unsafe, and there was a lot to do entertainment wise.
I would give it a 5.5 / 10.
For reference, Baton Rouge is a 3.50 / 10 in my book.

I don’t blame them for the high rejection rate on some of those countries
