Letlow is not Cassidy. That’s her greatest accomplishment to date

she’s an AIPAC shill. But the boomers in Louisiana only care what Trump says.

One of the worst things Trump as done during his terms (and outside of them) is endorse women to higher office.

Well of course he has and I'm the guy who firmly believes women should not be allowed to vote, PERIOD!!

Take your loss with grace

The goal was to take out Cassidy. Trump did that. His 2 choices were Cassidy lite, or a woman. He went with the woman. As usual is instincts were right

Fleming called him reprehensible. He voted for for increases in H1B visas, and "labor" across the southern border. Hes already lost one Senate race, hes 75 and wanted that 6 year gig. It was a no-brainer for Trump

I’m rolling the dice with Fleming. How do I know he won’t work against Trump because he’s butthurt Trump endorsed Letlow?

Letlow’s #1 thing she’s done is tell Trump she will vote w the team. Just vote w the team and don’t be an a-hole and the job isn’t that hard.

I am an independent. Did not vote for a US Senate candidate. Obviously it makes no difference now. One is too old and one has done nothing.

You want someone who has a long career in politics? Not me. Give me someone new every time. Politics should be a temporary job, not a career.

Because he already blamed Landry for that. He explained it all last week. There was some dirty stuff going on.

I think any wind can blow Letlow.

She will become whatever she has to be once Trump and Landry are gone.

Her new fiancé is a lobbyist for carbon sequestration. The biggest scam out there.

I find it a little weird she is engaged only two years after her husband died. Especially with little kids.

I want someone who is accomplished and knows how to overcome the obstacles associated with politics.

What has she done besides get a POTUS endorsement?

obviously. If she will vote the way she needs to vote when it's time to vote, who cares what the details are?

Her voting record is almost as bad as cassidy's.

Fleming got 97% conservative positive

Letlow isn't the only choice, so no it's not.

What Has Letlow Done?

John Fleming was elected Louisiana State Treasurer on November 18, 2023, and sworn in on January 8, 2024. A physician, entrepreneur businessman and military veteran, he is also a former Congressman from the fourth district of Louisiana. He served four terms in Congress from 2009-2017. While in Congress, he was one of the founders of the House Freedom Caucus.

After leaving Congress, he was appointed to three different positions in the Trump administration. First, he served from 2017-2019 as Deputy Assistant Secretary at Health and Human Services, then he was appointed and Senate-confirmed in 2019 as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development. In 2020, he was detailed to the West Wing of the White House and served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to President Trump.

Fleming grew up in a working-class home. His father died while he was still in high school, leaving him with no breadwinner in the home, two younger siblings, and a disabled mother. Despite such hardships, John worked his way through college and was accepted into medical school. After his residency in Family Medicine, Dr. Fleming served as a Naval Medical Officer. After leaving the military, he set up a medical practice in Minden where he lives today. In addition, he started several companies, managing commercial real estate, as well as multi-unit franchises. These businesses continue to successfully operate today.

John and Cindy have been married for 47 years. They have four grown children and six grandchildren.

I guess, at least, she can now clearly see what her fate is if she is.

I have to believe she possesses some instincts for self-preservation.

She's done enough ... and she'll do more.

Two big things are:

1 - She's all in favor of abolishing the filibuster and giving the Senate the power to pass Trump’s agenda and power through his appointments.

2 - She's in favor of replacing Thune as Senate Majority Leader. (He came out against her, in favor of Cassidy, and he routed GOP money to be used against her.)

3 - She's vowed to vote in favor of The SAVE Act.

So he has shook a lot of hands.

His resume is just as good as Thune's, not Cornyn's but I'd put him up against Thune any day.

Out of everything happening in this world, this is the woman you are most concerned about?

Kind of weird
