With the NFL’s Week 11 action wrapping up, it quickly became clear that football fans had found other things to do as thousands of empty seats could be seen in stadiums from coast to coast.

With TV ratings off nearly 20 percent over all and the networks already known to have lost up to $500 million in ad revenue, it is becoming clear that last year’s 12 percent decline wasn’t because of the raucous political season, a claim that served as the excuse for the 2016 season’s ratings loss.

Of all the good pictures of empty stadiums. You chose a single cropped section of a stadium with no context.

Can’t help it if you can’t click the link, Buddy. Plenty of different empty stadiums for your viewing pleasure.

if you are older than 30 and decided to say enough... you are likely not going to return. Big country and an even bigger world. Lots of stuff to do rather than sit around and be insulted trying to watch mostly minimum wage folks make millions playing football.

If you are younger, you probably don't understand this but one day you will.

I guarantee it.

Didn't you get the memo? This board doesn't care about the NFL boycott anymore as they claimed victory weeks ago

The Dome was bonkers.

This season has been a lot of fun, I feel sorry for people who take this shite too seriously.

The players made you quit. Get over it.

They must be boycotting Cajun games too.

The death before our eyes of the NFL has become wayyyy more entertaining than the games

The Cleveland and Giants pictures have nothing to do with the NFL's political stances, those are due to both teams being pure garbage.

ETA: Same with Green Bay (Rodgers' injury has really hurt that team) and Miami.
