Guys, we gotta wake up to this fact (no matter how shitty it is) that people will vote on this item ALONE.
Exactly. Other candidates will start to embrace this idea because it can provide a needed push from a highly desired demographic. If the push gets strong enough then even Trump may have to weigh in on this during reelection.
I fully expect this to happen at some point.

Class action suit to have evsryone yhat paid off their debt get paid for being responsible.

Warren’s tax plan would put an annual 2 percent tax on wealth above $50 million and an additional 1 percent tax on wealth above $1 billion.
This has been deemed unconstitutional. This wretched human being needs to go hide in her native burial grounds.

Not only are you fricked, you’re part of the problem.

The banks got a fricking bailout. I know two wrongs don't make a right, but still, it does anger me that we privatize gains, and socialized losses on such a wide scale.

This is a huge distinction. This isn't income, it's wealth. If you have a billion dollars of net worth, you have to pay an annual tax of $100 million.

If this is the case then tax these schools that tricked over their students with outrageous tuition and FEES because of the easy government money to be had. I paid off my loans and it sucked but I did it. Same here for this generation.

you want to do something that makes sense....tie off paying off student loans to military or other public service...

Same. I paid off a frick ton of debt and I'm proud of myself. That doesn't mean I don't think it's bullshite that the banks privatized gain and socialized losses, and that if I had to choose between a bailout between the banks and private citizens, I would have chosen private citizens.
I realize the conditions of a hypothetical bailout aren't apples to apples, but I don't think the crazy socialists like Warren are making a completely misplaced argument.

Don’t worry, she’s not even in the running, even with all her giveaways and impeached shite....

I still don't get it. If college is such a great "investment" why can't graduates pay for it?
In realty it was a TERRIBLE investment. If I make a bad investment know what I do? Stop buying it. The idea we should throw MORE money away on bad investments is silly. Even worse is taking money from successful people to do it.

Those of us who paid back student loans are getting, what in this deal?

The interest rate alone on these loans is criminal.

Actually, they are. Government takeover of student loans has caused college prices to soar dramatically. Her plan will on cause price inflation to go into overdrive.

I was thinking he meant that the rates are way too low for lenders considering the counterparty risk is so high

I don't disagree with anything you are saying, however, you are one vote and well there's a rather large population wanting this kinda legislation. I still want Trump to be left in the WH come 2020.

Dude this issue is more than likely priority numero uno for ALL Millenials.
You are a fool if you think this is something that could not decide an election.
