From the beginning, it has never felt like Occam's Razor can be applied to this story. It stinks to hell of a spook psyop/false flag.
Why? TBD. We may never know. We will probably never know, especially with how this is still developing and the media has already pivoted away just as quickly as they did after both Crooks and Routh tried to kill Trump.

Dude was an 18 Bravo (Weapons Expert) in Green Berets. He could have built an explosive to bring down the entire hotel.

So... He learned about explosives from ChatGPT and the result was ..... "pfffffthhpptpop."
I think all we can learn from this (if it is true) is that ChatGPT is a poor source for accurate information.
On the other hand, it could be yet another poorly contrived crock of dookey story presented by an ABC agency severely lacking any ability to develop a believable story line.

I think its possible people are looking at this wrong.
In military you are not creating explosives rather using existing ones in controlled environment.
He came back from Germany so would not have any with him
He would not be able to find what he used in military in that short time in US without big red flag
Its likely he did use that and in haste maybe due to ruined marriage?
And likely thought Tesla battery would explode too. And forgot to factor in how strong Tesla is.
It may be as simple as that. Lots of things don’t add up but not all options are nefarious either.
