If the situation is really serious, I doubt you would fix it. One of my brother-in-laws has been very vocal on social media, to the point where he blocked his own brother after I commented on one of his posts about Elon Musk. His brother found my comment amusing. The ironic thing is, the brother who got upset doesn't even live in the country where my wife and the other brother are naturalized citizens here and both support Trump. My wife is pretty neutral on the issue, but she's planning to wear a Trump shirt when she visits her father soon. It's kind of funny because, despite being a big Trump supporter myself, I don't actually own any Trump-branded clothing.

I laugh at them and send more Trump memes until blocked.

I have a friend that has been a baby back bitch and blocked me over Covid.

I have a sibling and two brother in laws who vote democrat. I see them maybe once or twice a year and we don't discuss politics. When people who support my side start talking I shut it down as well. I've heard all of the arguments from all sides and I don't want to listen to it at family gatherings.

Expressing family disagreements are permissible. After all, Cain slew Abel.

Hard to have a plan for these old dog Dems. Most I know really dont understand the political shift since Clinton. All they know is what they see on the news. They think the news is still legit.

Older God fearing christian people that have voted D their whole life. I have several in my family. They live a conservative capatalist life. They just have always voted D. Alot of older people like that in Arkansas. Goooood people that just dont get it and no use trying to get them to understand.

My mom and just paseed dad voted for Trump but alot of their siblings vote D no matter what. I understand them more than I do my young lib cousins that are pro abortion and hate anyting Donald. They dont engage with me because I will tear them a new one. The eldres I go easy one.

Part of making America great again is returning to a time when we respected one another despite political differences.

I just squash it as inappropriate discussion for family time. Regardless of the mix of people present.

I have 5 siblings. Four are on the right side and the youngest, who spent a long time in academia and lived in France for a while, is a libtard. We don't discuss politics as a rule, but every now and then I like to poke the bear and get him riled up. He has extreme TDS and is a lost cause.

When Trump was first elected, he passed through town and visited. We had a nice visit and as he was walking out the door, I said, "Hey, how about that election, bro?"

That got him going and he left soon thereafter in a huff. Mrs. Rabbit was a little pissed at me for stirring up shite, but I enjoyed it.
