Oh I hope so.
Can he start now?

I'm somewhat stupefied at how many Americans who have been in the US for generations believe the path forward is Democratic Socialism/communism/Marxism. Doesn't make any logical sense.
It doesn't help that the Right/RNC is absolutely worthless when it comes to messaging about it. The left/Dems push the Nazi thing, but the Right never calls Dems communist. VE is something to point too but they drop the ball. It's infuriating.

You are just echoing the same shite that’s on Reddit.

Yes
GA house seat just lost a special election that was +12 for Donald. Guy won lost by 22 points last time he ran in the same area.
Was told I was a panican when I brought the bloodbath up a few months ago

True, but it'll at least put a simple term to the Democrat face. Easier to teach people what they are supporting.

What the frick do you want people to do??
Tuck tail and give in?
“Well OK, it was a good ride boys, frick our children’s future, guess we have to embrace all the Muslims.”
What do you want people to do? All we can do is vote. Trump is doing about 90% of what we voted for. The alternative would have continued Biden’s (obama) Presidency only more aggressively.
Are you advocating for violence? That is the only option left.
I don’t get you people. What exactly is it that you want the majority of people to do?

Total votes seem to have skyrocketed. Curious as to what has changed in Miami

They are waiting Trump out. It’s so obvious. They refuse to codify anything that Trump is pushing.

Only 37,239 people voted.
What in the frick?

I was coming to post this - forst time in 28 years and I wonder what all the move ins had to do with it.
Surprised the Cubans let this happen
ETA:
Guy now running for gov said he would charge $1 million for any foreigner to attend a state college ie UF or FSU.
Also this is not even midterm election
Also- Tampa had a dem mayor for years who was actually pretty good - never said anything stupid or tried to do anything other than let the city run

Running on a platform of subsidies, more Indians, more Chinese students, and affordability will surely bring everyone to the voters booth.

Democrats Just Flipped Another Republican-Held Office in Georgia
Eric Gisler, Democratic candidate for the Georgia State House, just won the special election versus Republican candidate Mack "Dutch" Guest IV, for a previously held GOP seat.
Georgia has become a bellwether state for national politics, with recent elections possibly signaling wider trends in party momentum ahead of major cycles such as the 2026 midterms.
The recent Democratic gains—culminating in the flip of both this local Republican-held office and the mayoral seat in Miami on Tuesday night—underscore a potential shift in Georgia and Florida's electoral landscape and may indicate voter priorities around affordability, energy policy and party identity ahead of forthcoming federal and gubernatorial races.
According to Decision Desk Headquarters (DDHQ), CNN and Atlanta-Journal Constitution Chief Political Reporter Greg Bluestein, Gisler flipped the previous GOP Georgia House seat covering parts of Oconee County and Athens.
Bluestein wrote on X, "In a stealth upset, Democrat Eric Gisler flips a GOP-held Georgia House seat spanning parts of Athens and Oconee County. Gisler won 39% of vote last November. He captured 51% tonight to defeat a Republican backed by Gov. Brian Kemp and other GOP leaders. #gapol"
These results follow additional Democratic momentum, such as the recent victory of former state Representative Mary Robichaux in the Roswell mayoral runoff, ousting an incumbent backed by Republican Governor Brian Kemp.

Midterms will be a bloodbath
The mayor of Miami is a relatively weak position. When I lived in Miami most people did not even know who the mayor was. The deciding issue was likely the cost of living. I looked it up the average cost a one bedroom apartment in Miami has gone up by over $700 since 2020. Housing prices have also gone up by 1/3rd since 2020. I know that most of the increased costs are from inflation and ridiculous government spending during covid but voters do realize that. Trump and the republicans have to do something serious to get prices to go down or next year will be a bloodbath. I do not getting a new chairman of the Fed who will lower interests rate will be enough. Trump is going to have to come up with some kind of lower price plan or massive advertising campaign to counteract the narrative that the legacy media and dems are pushing regarding affordability.

Florida man checking in.
This is a disaster for south Florida. This new mayor will destroy 30 years of amazing work that has occurred in Miami/Dade. She will gut law enforcement and encourage homeless encampments. She will raise taxes and screw over every working person in that city.
I fully agree that the mid terms are in jeopardy, given this result.

This is why you don't want liberal hellholes to implode. The carpetbaggers just pick up and move to the nice place and frick it up.
This is the unfortunate price of prosperity in states like Florida, Texas and others. Colorado is what can happen.

The tariffs have been surprisingly successful. Good trade deals, manufacturing being moved to the US, and a helluva lot of money raised for the Treasury. And the effect on inflation has been slight to non-existent.
Trump needs to send the trade deals to Congress once they are finalized. I would love to see CoC cucks like HHTM and democrats argue against deals that are both good for the USA and the other countries involved.
