I'm somewhat stupefied at how many Americans who have been in the US for generations believe the path forward is Democratic Socialism/communism/Marxism. Doesn't make any logical sense.

The Democrat was well ahead before Election Day. You can bet your arse low turnout and a full on cheat. With a district filled with non English.

FL has had a huge influx of northerners for decades and has actually become redder in the last few years. Pretty neat. No idea what happened in Miami, F-L-A. Cuban ex-pats lean conservative because they despise communism. The Puerto Ricans are heavily democrats.

The democrats almost have a monopoly in all major cities. They put more money in them and win. I also noticed more people are moving out, because you don’t need to live in a city to work anymore. The demographics are changing in real time. That’s my take.

People hate Republicans they don’t hate Trump that’s what many of you fail to understand.

What the frick has Thune and Johnson passed? The GOP has done nothing while quietly whittling away at the BBB.

Like most elections, the midterms will be decided in the month or 2 before. Freaking out and preemptively declaring the midterms a bloodbath at this time is pointless. Not everyone is a drama queen.

It's also kind of dumb to call this board an echo chamber when people express your opinion every single day, multiple times usually.

I really think people don't understand the definition of echo chamber. They seem to think it means any board where a large number of people disagree with them or are just not as emotional in their displeasure.

GOP going to get slammed because of their own doing.

Running on a platform of subsidies, more Indians, more Chinese students, and affordability will surely bring everyone to the voters booth.

I live here in Miami and didnt vote. No interest

A year ago at this time Trump flags and signs and bumper stickers were all over the place. Lasted for months after the election but I hardly see any these days. People are mad about how Epstein was handled

Calling it like it is is not being a drama queen. The ones being dramatic are the people who refuse to acknowledge the fact of the matter.

Yeah, so, that doesn't not make it an echo chamber.

You're right. You and the other adherents don't know what it means:
quote:

An echo chamber is a metaphorical space (often online) where beliefs are amplified and reinforced by repetition, as people primarily encounter information confirming their existing views while dissenting opinions are excluded, leading to increased polarization and extremism, driven partly by algorithms and confirmation bias, distinct from a physical sound-reflecting room.
That describes the TD poliboard echo chamber to a tee. Just because there's an occasional voice of reason amoung an otherwise politically homogenous group of individuals doesn't mean it's not an echo chamber, it just means it's not an echo chamber for democrats, because otherwise all dissenting opinions would be shut down immediately (e.g., reddit, bluesky, etc.), and they'd cheer if you were murdered for said dissenting opinions because the democrat party circa 2025 are communists.

It's an echo chamber. Own it. They have their own, and before Twitter was freed from the democrat chains of tyranny, they had a monopoly on their echo chamber.

Your party can't and doesn't even understand Tariffs, all they know is MSM says they are bad and you people jump on board. I'm just curious why you think it is ok for every other country to do it, but not the US. At some point, this country is going to have to feel a little pain in order to right the ship...but people like you are not willing. The overall goal is to grow american production and to buy american. The horror of not being able to save a few bucks by buying cheap slave labor products from China.

I mean, do you think this board is full of rocket scientist? These are some of the same people that want every player kicked off the teams and every coach fired.
