Birmingham is literally in the running every year. We don't even have a place to hold it

The BJCC or....Hoover Met?

ETA: Hosting at Legion Field would be appropriate for the effects of Democratic governance.

And Fulton (Atlanta) was pro-HRC by 42 points.

Bringing their shite show to a swing state could backfire. Lets go to Milwaukee and tell them how bad the economy is and what a bad deal the tax refund was, how peace in NKorea after almost 70 years isn't a big deal, etc.

IMHO the conventions are not what they used to be, the nomination is usually wrapped up and there is no drama, people aren't watching the dog and pony shows for speaking time and for the D's it will just be America bashing and pandering.

It's like the Olympics a financial disaster for most cities that get it.

Atlanta would work. HRC pulled off the political equivalent of blowing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl.

I’d be FLOORED if it’s not Milwaukee out of that list.

But I’m shocked they aren’t trying Pittsburgh or Columbus. They can’t give trump the rust belt again.

That freak show has the potential to swing any one of those stares further from the Dems than closer.

No, SAFE D and getting worse every day. But they had Obozo's coronation there so they'll go somewhere else unless they're trying to "recapture the magic"
