The unemployment rate fell sharply in September to 4.8 percent, a decline of 0.4 percentage points. But employment growth fell sharply for the second consecutive month after a staggering rise in coronavirus cases began in late July. Economists expected the U.S. to add roughly 500,000 jobs last month, just half of July’s employment gain of more than 1 million.

Reading comprehension fail.

500,000 expected
194,000 actually added.

To be fair, that’s a pretty big drop in one month for unemployment %, especially considering it was already low at 5.2%. I would definitely define that as sharp

Of all the things wrong in the article, this was not one to hitch your wagon to

Unemployment rate fell but the reason is likely to be that people have stopped looking for work.

There is work to be had but no one wants to do most of it.

Just wait until all these companies with 115 people have to start getting under 100 for the shot mandate.

Statistically, he would be bound to get something right by accident occasionally if this weren’t by design.

That's exactly what that means. The unemployment rate only factors in people who are actively looking for jobs. It doesn't touch those people who are unemployed and not looking for work. There are millions of young Americans who are currently living off the government in their mom's basement.

Just like Obama. Now if we wait a month they’ll revise it downward by half.

Another thing people leave out in these discussions is the new numbers of unemployment declared, and those numbers aren’t good either. We basically aren’t moving forward

If employers want to add jobs they are just going to have to pay more

That’s an economy that works from the bottom up!

We aren’t moving forward because this is exactly what was planned.

We literally have these people quoted as saying they want to limit the world population and how they rigged the 2020 election. They are letting school shooters out on bail to walk free. Not juveniles, but 18-year-old adults. That doesn’t happen by accident.

I guess they’re accusing people of welfare fraud? It was hard to follow. That was only one of about 10 excuses they made.

8. Higher gas prices
9. Potential tax hikes on the middle class

11. Nationalized police force who threaten to investigate if you speak up against Dem policy (FBI)

12. Exponentially rising violent crime rates by population compared to a precipitous drop from 2016 to 2019.

13. Manufactured labor crisis by paying people not to work while proposing to further loosen restrictions on welfare recipients.

14. Completely avoidable budget battle because of the demand to spent trillions for pet projects.

15. Putin’s Puppet. (Nord Stream pipeline)

16. China’s puppet. (Suppression of the “conspiracy theory” lab leak information)

17. Self manufactured energy crisis in the US by rolling back energy policy that makes energy cheaper for Americans.

18. After begging OPEC, failed to get an increase in energy supply after cutting our own domestic production supply down.

19. Lies. Blatantly. See the June begging of an increase in OPEC supply and September position that high gas prices are “good to combat climate change.” Blatant. Obvious. Lie.

22. Kid is using the office of President for financial gain and selling access via umm.. paintings. Big guy probably getting a cut.
