It’s gonna be great when DOGE actually provides all the evidence they have for all these accusations. Surely they must have some at this point. Right?

I’m not wild about everything DOGE is doing but are you really this dense?

Looks like his team is specifically hunting down the various departments where the bogus numbers can be used to thief from the system.

Need to look into govt employees because no way people would know which SS numbers they could use unless people with access to the database sold them that information

It is obvious that it can pay for social security, NATO membership and self defense and all the things Americans really need and want with about 50% less revenue via taxation

This guy, on the other hand, has NEVER seen a pie chart of the federal budget.

Partially true. But 600 million this year. 600 million next year. Eventually it adds to big money. Small amounts eventually add up to large amounts.

Neither has this one.

Doge will never cut enough that we don't need to pay taxes.

DOGE will never cut enough to even lower taxes.

Not unless one of the things they cut is SS/Medicare.

Yeah, I would not use this meme again unless you want to look like an idiot.

Still on point but needs to be cleaned up.

it seems like they can track this pretty easily.

They were deposited into accounts that should be traceable. Claw it all back to include automobiles and homes, if necessary.

But reality is, it's hard to find what you're not even looking for.

So DOGE accounted for a little over $600 million in fraudulent loans and you think that means taxes should be cut?

So if they found this fraud (all one type, loans to people age 11 and under), there's probably more. And that's just the Small Business Association. I bet it adds up, and multiplies many times.

I'll also bet there significant fraud in SS/Medicare/Medicaid. Cut the fraud, not the benefits.

How is it dense to just not believe a bunch of tweets from a made up agency that’s operating and reporting their findings via X? I have yet to see any physical evidence that these things are really true.

If they were we would surely see DOJ indictments correct?

Whats sad is when Ida damn near destroyed my house, SBA wouldn't loan me the money because I had recently aquired the lot next door.

I purchased the lot then subdivided it with my neighbor. They approved me for an $80k loan but insisted my neighbor had a "lien" on my property because the parish was in the middle of doing the legal work on the subdivision of the lot as both of our names were on the lot.

F the Fed Gov. They are trash

O.k.,

I'm going to link it for you guys who have never seen it.

2024 Federal Budget

Keep in mind that the numbers are in billions. So when you see a line item that totals a trillion or more dollars, it's expressed in thousands of billions of dollars. For example, Social Security totals 1.4 Trillion, expressed in the chart as 1,452 Billions.

For 600 million to end up equalling 1.4 trillion, the multiple would be 2,333 times as much.

Do you really think they'll find that much waste? That they will find 2,332 more incidences of fraud like this one?

And that's just to cover SS. The single largest line item, sure, but Medicare adds another 842 Billion and Medicaid another 558 Billion.

Now you've got to find over 4,500 incidences of fraud as big as this one.

Please. Y'all just look at it. It will stop so much nonsense posting.

Lowering taxes actually increases tax revenues. This has been proven, so holding off on tax cuts doesn't make sense. Cut taxes, reduce regulations, improve the economy. That will increase tax revenue more than high taxes.

I remember a website being shared several years ago tracking all of the PPP loan $ given to businesses. The amount of fraud was absolutely insane. The one that really stood out to me was $450K for a gas station in the ghetto. I remember thinking this would eventually catch up to them.

How much of lowering taxes will cover the 6.75T - 4.9T shortfall? We pay 1T per year on INTEREST. For that to go away, first you get rid of the debt.

I’ve worked with this stuff my whole life and if they didn’t maintain a clean SS database there is virtually no way they were properly maintaining and track individuals between agencies because it invalidates the idea of having a clean unique ID within government.

The entire federal government is a house of cards and by the time they’re done exposing, cutting and prosecuting the fraud it’s not clear to me we will have a sustainable two party system because the complicity and responsibility for that fraud and oversight will lay entirely at their feet.
