UVA therapy may provide a novel approach in the fight against COVID-19.

It was pretty effective too, in its early trials.

quote:

Five subjects were enrolled (mean age 56.60 years, three male). At baseline, all subjects scored 9/10 on the World Health Organization (WHO) clinical severity scale (10 = death), with predicted mortality ranging from 21% to 95%. Average endotracheal viral load significantly reduced from baseline to day 5 (- 2.41 log; range - 1.16 to - 4.54; Friedman p = 0.002) and day 6 (- 3.20; range - 1.20 to - 6.77; Friedman p < 0.001). There were no treatment-emergent adverse events, with no changes in oxygenation or hemodynamics during the 20-min treatments. One subject died 17 days after enrollment due to intracranial hemorrhagic complications of anticoagulation while receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. The remaining subjects clinically improved and scored 2, 4, 5, and 7 on the WHO scale at day 30. In these subjects, clinical improvement correlated with reduction of viral load (Spearman’s rho = 1, p < 0.001).

I disobeyed Trump on his advice to get vaxxed. It's amazing that so many liberals followed Trump's advice.

Yes, I know. Think about that claim for a few minutes.

Confusion on Treatment-
Trump spoke about whether disinfectant could be used internally, asking, "Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?".

he was brainstorming bc the scientist had said that bleach would kill the virus...in no way did he ever suggest anyone inject bleach to kill the virus. Only morons would think this.

Hydroxychloroquine: Trump frequently promoted this malaria drug as a "game changer," despite a lack of clinical evidence at the time and subsequent studies showing it had no benefit for COVID-19.

Early in the pandemic, he suggested the virus would "miraculously" go away by April as the weather warmed up.

yet third world countries that frequently used Hydroxychloroquine had more success against covid tan the US. Many studies outside the US were hidden from people in the US. I had many docotrs and nurses telling me about these studies. What did WHO and the CDC come up with to fight off covid? Hell I know many people who were told to go home and if you get worse come back to the er...and most of the ones told that ended up having major complications because over that span it set in their lungs.

Trump was following Fauci, CDC and WHO recommendations the entire time. He cut travel to countries with those recommendations and was called out by the dems...for listening to the advice of the medical experts.

When did Biden tell the country/world if you get the vaccine you cannot get covid? July 2021

I'm all for questioning anyone and everyone, but you lost me at the whole disinfectant injections. If you can't distinguish hyperbole as an adult then that's your own fault. Also, there are many studies now that show that Hydroxychloroquine was an effective approach to COVID.

I will always hold him accountable for the shutdowns and as a result the unnecessary printing of more money. What I am more frustrated with now is the fact that we know this was a lab/man made virus that was released on the people and no one has been held accountable. I am more frustrated with that then the initial shutdowns.

Trump had been told that light sterilizes everything. He had also been told that chlorine sterilizes everything. He is not a scientist, and was just asking questions and spitballing on the fly. It's quite literally a nothingburger that for some reason happen over a half a decade ago and you still can't let it go.

So since we're bringing up old crap, what are your thoughts on Biden showering with his then-12-year-old daughter? Got an opinion on that one?

quote:

Hydroxychloroquine: Trump frequently promoted this malaria drug as a "game changer," despite a lack of clinical evidence at the time and subsequent studies showing it had no benefit for COVID-19.

Did you wear an ear loop mask during covid? I bet you did. I bet you still do. Did you know that it was very public knowledge in the medical community even at the time, that they were only effective as a virtue signaling placebo? Did you ever hear that only a fitted, fully-sealed N95 or P100 respirator will filter out particulates as small as those of SARS COVID-19?
quote:

Early in the pandemic, he suggested the virus would "miraculously" go away by April as the weather warmed up.

He predicted that it would miraculously go away after the election. He predicted correctly. CNN had a running "ticker" on their screen for almost two years tracking "covid deaths" that they took down literally the day Biden was sworn into office. Willing to admit that?
quote:

Throughout early 2020, Trump expressed appreciation for China's efforts in tweets and interviews, specifically praising President Xi for his "hard work" and "transparency" on January 24, and calling China "extremely capable" and disciplined on February 7 and 13. As late as February 23, he continued to commend Xi for doing a "very good job".

By mid-March 2020, as the pandemic escalated, Trump’s tone shifted significantly to blaming China for lack of transparency and calling the disease the "Chinese Virus". When asked about his earlier comments, he maintained they were based on the information he had at the time.

Yeah, that sounds like a man working with the information with which he had been presented, as opposed to iGnOriNg tEh sCieNcE. I mean, you even quoted his response:
quote:

When asked about his earlier comments, he maintained they were based on the information he had at the time.

Here's another question. Do you remember national media jumping all over a story about an Arizona man that died "after using aquarium-grade hydroxychloroquine intended for fish"? Peppeidge Farm remembers. It was the man's wife who made that claim to authorities, that her husband "was fooled by bLuMpF's RhEtOriC" and it cost him his life. Turns out, she had poisoned her own husband for the life insurance money, and saw an opportunity to blame Trump with the current political climate. News media was happy to join in blaming Trump, and never faced any ramifications for their false reporting and blatant bias.

Trump isn't perfect, but don't be obtuse. You went full-Tim-Walz. Never go full-Tim-Walz.

Trump's biggest gaffe during Covid was Project Warpspeed because he trusted Big Pharma and he trusted Fauci, at least at the beginning of the pandemic. But he should have seen who Fauci was much sooner.

quote:

Govt shutdowns and then printing money- Trump was in office when the first two rounds of COVID-19 stimulus checks were authorized and signed into law in 2020. He signed the $2.2 trillion CARES Act in March 2020 and a second $900 billion package in December 2020.

Equally as bad.

Even when he was campaigning in 2024 he was boasting about the vax.
