Does freedom cause this?

Did Freedom get us this?
Does freedom have an expiry?
I see stuff like this all the time and wonder if freedom and the fight for freedom caused this.
Here we have a young kid that is championed for femininity. In my mind, one thing ceded this:
COMFORT provided by freedom.
I'm not sure that I am a bad guy for saying that he is safe in this country for being a feminine boy. Other places, he would be killed. Our media wants you to think white cis' would hang him, but I am sure that the majority hurt themselves more than a few hard-line nuts do.
Back to comfort, if this boy lived anywhere else, would he have this need to be what he is not?
Did 200+ years of freedom create this and should we be worried that boys in other countries that don't grow up this way will one day, make it to our shores and create havoc? china teaches masculinity

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs - the higher you go, the more time to think and act like this.
So I’d say freedom, but also development and advancement into first world. People 200 years ago weren’t thinking about their “identity” because they were too busy working for their survival.

People are still doing that today, just not in America. Almost 4B people make less than $2/day. Another 2.5B are very poor to poor. The reality is that the poorest people in our country are squarely in the top 5% in the world in wealth.

No, cross dressing has been around for thousands of years. The Greeks and Romans were a lot gayer and it was mainstream. America is actually still seen as puritanical and prudish by most of the western world.
