Anyone who orders fish at a steakhouse is either an idiot or a democrat. Might as well eat lasagna at a good Asian restaurant.

The really annoying people are the busy bodies that worry about what other people order at restaurants IMO

You perfectly fit my example. Personally, I think restaurants who specialize in a certain culinary group should stick to it. Want seafood? Go to a seafood joint. Steak, chops? You know the drill. It keeps the triggering weenies out.

I would bite into each piece, showing her how much I enjoyed it. The more mad she got, the more I would show her.

At the Del Frisco’s at Legacy West in Plano. I ordered the 18 oz bone in strip, Pittsburgh style of course. The liberal looking girl with tats and septum ring sitting at the table next to me was perturbed by my order.

She probably just wanted to frick you once she saw you were conservative and had measurable testosterone levels.

Probably not, but similar things do happen. And it reminds me of that scene from Ted Nugent's reality show years and years ago. He had this vegan and PETA chick in the group, and he killed a woodchuck and left it nearby. She said it was "like burning a cross on my lawn". I got a great laugh out of that.

At Del Frisco's? You know that's a steakhouse, right?

OP is just trolling for upvotes. Or incredibly insecure.

I was Sous Chef for years at the Denver Dels, was disgusted when they removed the cigar bar during covid long after i left for my power generation career.

Had a regular when i ran the lunch broiler at The Palm in denver who loved it, 16oz fillet I would pull one from the fridge. he always said he wants to see ice in the center. i would roll it on the broiler, pull it, char it with the blow torch and put it back in the fridge until ready to serve, i would roll it on the broiler lust long enough to warm the outside and serve on a cold plate, it was perfect for him. Normal steaks during service are cooked from room temp. He started comming more frequently for me, good egg he was.

BTW The Palm, family owned since 1929 failed shortly after covid.

To hell with that leftist ninny, find a good place that cooks the meat the way you want it and frequent it.

Cheers!

Yeah, that sounds good, but what about someone who has a spouse or partner who wants fish while you're eating your ribeye? Better to accommodate her than to next time force you to choose between sex and steak.

Well, assuming you're a white male, your presence already triggers her. The steak you had the nerve to order in a steakhouse is just the icing on the cake.

These leftist, liberal frick democrats, and thier disdandful air of superiority disgust me.

Sounds like you are self conscious about eating so much beef. What do you care if someone at another table thinks about your order ....unless you ordered your steak well done with a bottle of ketchup on the side.

That would be a near criminal act at Del Frisco.....animal cruelty.....after the fact.

Did you at least enjoy the steak? Del Frisco usually does an excellent job.
