Ive been beyond pissed at how they’ve treated him, but I’ve never, ever felt sorry for him. He’s tough as nails. But I do now. Not in a “poor pitiful you” way. But when I saw him at the RNC, I felt just a genuine sadness. For him and his family. We almost lost the guy. No one comes away from that situation without being changed forever. He’ll be having nightmares for the rest of his life. His kids had to watch that shite. His friggin kids.

He’s now got Elon and that other rich guy publicly endorsing him. Quinn and Arch Manning publicly tweeted in support. They wouldn’t have done that a year ago, but they can post that stuff now, and no one else will do a damn thing about it.

Did he become a hero in the political world? Did he become untouchable to an extent? Even some of the Democrats in power have to be like, “alright, maybe we should chill with the rhetoric, maybe we actually are the assholes.”

When I think of all of it, it genuinely makes me sad. It hasn’t even sunk in.

No. I said it months ago. He needs to learn from Carsars mistake that Octavian did. You go all out or you don't. There's no half arse in this arena.

I honestly believe he has known this was a legitimate possibility. I really do.

However, I do wonder where your thoughts go when it actually happens, especially with all of the things about the situation that just don't add up and really look as if the government sanctioned the attempt.

Also, what are the nerves like moving forward?

I have honestly hurt for the guy for a while for being tortured unmercifully simply for calling out these swamp monsters for what they are. Now, like you there's a bit more sadness and anger mixed into the soup.

I would say instead, there now appears to be a certain somberness to him, which is not exactly sad, but can seem so at times. This is good, even if I hate how he got to it.

Yes I absolutely agree with everything u said. He really does just want to help this country get on the right track for his 10 grandchildren. He doesn’t want to die for this but they surely want to kill him- it’s horrible.

I do think just by his posture and teary eyes he is definitely a changed man- will be more religious for sure. He literally faced death straight in the face! Praise God he was spared.

I always liked Trump when he was on Letterman back in the day I think that he is a genuinely nice man he's spoken about his brother's alcoholism and you can see the compassion and care but somewhere between The Apprentice and running for president and the way media eats up things into sound bites I think he started to over-rely upon that persona

But I do think that he knows how close he came to dying and that's gotta change a person I certainly know in a more gradual way my stroke has made me face a lot of flaws in myself and also some strengths

I do hope that Trump develops a relationship with Christ and reliance upon God and that the nation benefits

I feel genuine pride when thinking about Trump. Knowing he makes zero dollars and fighting a deeply entrenched state with odds stacked against him. A very small handful of people would do the same in his situation. Great wife, family and set for life.

Yet he yearns for a better America. Even if it costs him everything. A true American hero. Gives me hope.

I don’t feel sad for him.

He’s not some stupid kid. He’s incredibly smart and seasoned.

He’s probably better prepared for this than anyone in DC except he doesn’t have the skeletons.

He knew what he was getting into. They have done everything they can to this man. He knew this would likely be part of it.

I respect the hell out of him. I admire him.

I appreciate him.

I damn sure don’t feel sorry for him.

Leaders lead. It’s hard.

I feel like every post in this thread has crystallized my personal thoughts in a way. Here's why I'm sad.

Sure, he's a rich guy. But, he could have been richer.

Sure, he's famous. But, he could have been far less maligned.

Sure, he could have sacrificed little. But, he's sacrificed much.

I have to ask those that berate and loathe DJT.......have you ever once fully dissected an accusation by the mainstream media? Have you ever watched an entire interview? Have you ever seen the entire context of a soundbite? And if you have, did you ever find that things weren't exactly as they seemed? Did you ever question why? Did you ever find yourself agreeing with friends and coworkers even tho you didn't 100% understand why they felt the way they did? Have THEY ever been able to fully articulate why?

If you haven't done any of the above, you've done far, far less than what Donald Trump has done for this country.

And while you sit there with misinformed malice, just know that DJT took a bullet trying to make every Americans life truly better. Even yours.

“I honestly believe he has known this was a legitimate possibilty.”

I saw a clip where he and Tucker Carlson talked about it.He was very much aware. He was pretty philosophical about it,it’s a risk he is willing to take.
Personally,I’m very surprised it took this many rallies before someone tried to wack him.
I imagine it crosses his mind frequently.I am in awe of him.Not many could take the abuse he has and keep going,I couldn’t.

Trump is the truest definition of patriot in the history of the US.

I've always said HE DOESN'T NEED TO GO THROUGH THIS bullshite HE GOES THROUGH.

But he does it because he loves America. He is literally risking his life to save us from all the pink haired pronoun IDIOTS and allowing KIDS to transform like some states do.

Those are just symptoms of the sickness this country has. He also has been the best president for world wide peace in generations. He cares about and ADVANCES US interests worldwide. And the swamp hates him for it.

He's fighting an uphill battle in draining the swamp, but he's our best and one of only a handful who are. 85% of our Congress is compromised. It'll take decades of electing the right people to make progress in restoring honor and service to our government. But Trump is the best and ONLY one to start with.

No doubt he’s a changed man. If you look at him during the RNC intro, he looked super somber IMO. Something we haven’t seen in a long time from him.

If the powers that be don’t succeed, then it’s only a matter of time before Dem politicians find themselves in the crosshairs. I hope we don’t get to that.

He did look mighty humble tonight, being able to reflect a few days probably has helped with that.
I think as scary as it was for everyone obviously including Trump this will ultimately make him an even better man and for that, I’m happy for him not sad.

Yes. And, I fear he knows more. We must protect him. Deep state and global elites want him dead at any cost. This isn’t a tin foil hat thing. No one wants to say it, but they know. You know.

I have felt sorry for President Trump for a long time.
I'm not a fan of his personality but I am convinced that the man is genuine patriot and loves our nation and its people.
Trump stands on the principles on which this nation was founded.
Trump's policies support his convictions.
He is a successful businessman, so he is not trying to enrich himself in office as do so many Democrats and Republicans.
His domestic policies reflect his business sense and were a success in his first term.
His foreign policies were also successful. He conveyed no nonsense toughest with a big stick message.
Trump has now been attacked by Democrats in every way possible using government agencies to eliminate their political opponents.
Yet through it all, Trump has remained strong and steadfast.
He should go down in his as one of the most valiant public servants in U.S. history.

I think it is an absolute travesty and disgusting the way the man has been dishonestly attacked and lied about, relentlessly and constantly, by legacy media and other politicians for several years now. The politically motivated FBI raids, lawsuits and assassination attempt are beyond reprehensible.

Most people going through what that guy has been put through over the last several years would have given up and walked away from politics after the 2020 (s)election.

But dammmit... that man is a fighter. I admire the hell out of him. He has balls of steel and he's tough as nails mentally. Make no mistake, he knew they or someone could assassinate him and he is still out there doing what is right and fighting to save this country from the D.C. establishment machine and globalist oligarch new world order. You know he's over the target when both sides of the establishment hate him.

Trump is Rage Against the Machine... and I'm here for it. LFG!
