One of my good friends sir. He has a job, hates it, and has tried to better himself by moving to a better company. The companies claim they want qualified workers but when he applies he is told he is over qualified. So that means they want crap workers. Their loss

You don't happen to do work with a company here in South Arkansas do you?

Two years ago, no. Now, there are plenty of people who are underemployed. They may have some job, but it is below their aspirations. The job market ain’t so great right now.

This reality is shitty and I’m sorry she’s going through this. She did everything she was told to do and got shite on. Continue to remind her that success is just preparation meeting opportunity.

We have an over abundance of “highly educated” individuals that are as dumb as rock. They do not want to start off low and work their way up. The worst thing is that they think sporting a worthless degree in under water basket weaving guarantees them an easy office job. Furthermore, you have the blue collar workers with no skills other than their muscle that do not want to use their muscles. That is where we are at.

Marketing and mass communication is a risky major.

What is she saying about that, if anything?
I know that we've told all of our employees that have to produce any stuff like that to create the 1st draft with Chat GPT...and it certainly seems like it's going to mean we won't need some of the humans.

A job?
frick a job…people want careers.
It figures that a plantation overseer like yourself would make fun of the slaves complaining.
Go back to your brokeback dancing….

If she can sell, she can get a job. I could hire her right now.
You'd be surprised at how many kids starting out refuse to take a sales positon. Or if they do, they want to be order takers instead of true salesmen. They will answer their phone (sometimes) but they don't follow up. They won't make cold calls. They won't engage with the potential customers.
It's amazing how hard it is to get people who are willing to sell.
