What’s funny is how people read “Massie voted against [bill]” and immediately get upset—without ever reading the bill themselves. He always has a reason, but most won’t bother to look.
Meanwhile, those same people are fine with representatives voting for bills that have a nice-sounding title or one appealing feature—regardless of how much hidden garbage is packed inside that quietly wrecks their lives.
They just want to say, “Our side won.”
It’s the same tribal mindset that’s ruined politics on the left, and now it’s doing the same on the right.
