The Skydance acquisition of Paramount/CBS may well turn out to be as big as Musk acquiring Twitter. And there are rumors that Ellison now has his eye on CNN. But it's not really clear if he's as hard right as he's portrayed. He might just be an opportunist a la Rupert Murdoch.

It wasn’t rhetorical. Maybe I am wrong in my observation. I appreciate all the responses. I think it’s sad that news sources aren’t trusted- but I’m pretty sure we’ve had this issue for decades. I was hoping with the rise of independent journalism and political pressure maybe some change had happened
