He's done a few good bits and had some misses.

But high volume and cuss words usually don't make you funny.

It absolutely blows my mind that their are parents who support abortion. The first time I heard that heartbeat my views on abortion took a major turn.

Now, speaking of consistency, Catholics, which I was until I reached the age of reason, Catholics and other Christians are against abortions, and they’re against homosexuals. Well who has less abortions than homosexuals?! Leave these fricking people alone, for Christ sake! Here is an entire class of people guaranteed never to have an abortion! And the Catholics and Christians are just tossing them aside! You’d think they’d make natural allies. Go look for consistency in religion. And speaking of my friends the Catholics, when John Cardinal O’Connor of New York and some of these other Cardinals and Bishops have experienced their first pregnancies and their first labor pains and they’ve raised a couple of children on minimum wage, then I’ll be glad to hear what they have to say about abortion. I’m sure it’ll be interesting. Enlightening, too. But, in the meantime what they ought to be doing is telling these priests who took a vow of chastity to keep their hands off the altar boys! Keep your hands to yourself, Father! You know? When Jesus said “Suffer the little children come unto me”, that’s not what he was talking about!

The above quote is what I refer to when I say he is accurate. People have to keep in mind this is a comedian saying this, but who are people to judge others without having ever been in their shoes?

We can all be opposed to abortion, but that isn't going to stop it from happening. Like I mentioned before, I don't advocate abortion. In general, I believe people should be responsible for their actions.

You were played. And you’re also using the fallacy that pro-rights means pro-abortion. Wake the frick up. And no. Heartbeat ain’t life. But this is a poli board topic and it’ll likely be closed shortly.

How many doctors killed vs. how many abortions performed?

Carlin was full of shite.

Sanctity of life, according to Vegans, who are overwhelmingly liberal...

Human fetus: "tissue mass" -- flush it if you want.

Unfertilized chicken egg: "That is life, and you shouldn't eat it."

Wrap your head around that one.

Yes.

The problem is mostly religion. People believe in that "soul" nonsense. Therefore they think that little mass of unthinking cells is a tiny person that's in there thinking about spring football practice and titties. But, none of that is true. Early on, that mass of cells is not much different than the trillions of sperm cells you guys have spread all over your parents' basement. You can debate at which point the blob of cells becomes an actual person, but the vast, vast majority of abortions take place well before that point.

I don't care about your arguments. Have a nice day.

So late term abortion is just terminating a mass of cells? Ever held a newborn child? One minute its in its mom's belly and the next minute its a person, but upon that passage through the birth canal it suddenly goes from a mass of unthinking cells to a person?

I’m not watching the video but I am for a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion if she chooses. And the decision should be between her and her doctor and no one else, nor should she have to jump through all sorts of hoops to get it. Things like making her listen to the heartbeat first are shameful and isnthe government unnecessarily making a difficult more difficult than it needs to be.

As long as my tax dollars are paying for her abortion that goes against my religious freedoms, then she can do something as simple as listen to the heart beat.

Who am I to judge Ted Bundy for murdering young girls?... I mean I have never been in his shoes to want to murder young women. I think we all need to keep an open mind and be accepting of all lifestyles and personal decisions. Besides if I talk about it as a comedian, it means I cannot be argued with as I am not really being serious.

whether I agree or disagree with Carlin's take... or on abortion itself, there was little or no sound logic to base anything on from what he spouted. Just a bunch of nonsense, not rooted or grounded in the least.

Good to make small minds chuckle, though.

I’ve never labeled anything “hate speech”. I don’t know or care what that is.

Bigoted and ignorant statements can be comedy, if they’re also funny. That wasn’t funny, so it’s just ignorant and bigoted.

I wouldn't base my stance on abortion on someone who's probably burning in hell, but that's just me.

And George Carlin did't know dick about what Conservatives believe.
