Our tiny conservative town allocated an extra $50K towards Independence Day festivities and the fireworks display this year. It's going to be awesome.

I would not be the least bit surprised if a majority of the Democratic Socialists/Wokesters in the KC metro are celebrating and partying on July 4, 2026 with a buncha of foreigners who are in town for the FIFA World Cup games/activities. My guess is the celebration won't be focused on the 250th birthday of the USA.
