What responsibility do hospitalized unvaxxed people bear when they deny others healthcare

Different thread title but same shite.

Self-important dumbass that’s nowhere near as intelligent as he thinks he is starts absurd thread.

People respond pointing out absurdity of thread.

Self-important dumbass spends the entire thread telling people that’s not what his thread is about.

I believe the lawsuit thread was about the parents who knowingly let their infected child go to a prom. This was also at the height of the early pandemic so 20 months ago?

No. And that story turned out to be a giant cluster frick of a lie. The County health department got sued by the family for lying about the direction they gave the family and then basically came back to the public and said “Let’s let bygones be bygones.”

Oh for frick's sake. Yeah. You've been on this board since the dawn of time and now you're gonna take the "cherry pick the biggest idiots and ascribe them to the whole board" approach?

Come the frick on.
He has been incessantly doing this for over a year now.

It’s like he’s on a mission to show us what a boosie and powerman love child would look like on the political board.

Somone tried to convince me that just because vaccines don't always prevent infection, they can still be effective.

Well, that’s true.

The problem is that when you have a 20% chance of getting the virus without the vaccine and an 18% chance of getting the virus with the vaccine, people are a lot less excited about the efficacy of the vaccine.

the doomcasters used to start threads saying they will bleed from the tree of liberty and are the true patriots. all others are contributing to the enemy. they don't take into account anyones personal business with their doctor. or who watched someone die or in an ICU.

they are thee patriots you see, with pureblood.

a man posted a thread of his wife in the ICU and they just had to one up the poor man with their arrogance.

they have no clue that they are worse than the progfilth and are helping the enemy with their divisive arrogance.

and i wish them well and don't GAF if they get vaxed or not. but the peacocking is sickening.

one of them will reply now and tell me go get boosted as if this makes them so superior wishing me misfortune.

Some people who aren’t fully on board with vaccinating everyone in the world are simply asking we treat this vaccine like we would treat any other vaccine.
You mean like being required to get prior to attending school and other civic spaces?

Why does the topic need to constantly be revised with the latest example?

It's not to proliferate the concepts b/c those concepts are already part of a dogma. So what's the real reason?

Because (though perhaps not here as much due to the general political leaning of the board) we are constantly bombarded by those on the other side of the debate that the vaccine is completely and unequivocally "safe" and that receiving such and the inevitable boosters is the ONLY way to adequately address covid. Their messaging is the same regardless of any example that may be to the contrary. So I guess people feel they need to point out each new example to say "see, again, here is another example that you may not be 100% correct despite the refusal to accept that possibility."

The silly thing is thinking this is an "anomaly" on "the board" or anywhere.

Many seem to have a problem filtering noise. It's understandable in many ways, especially when there is so much coming from everywhere/

What are the rules this week with regards to being “vaccinated”? I’ve lost count.

We do this pretty regularly. I don’t know if you forget or what.

Hospitalization rates for breakthrough infections are roughly the same, vaccinated or unvaccinated.

There appears to be an absolute reduction in mortality somewhere between .3% and .7% in the macro. For a healthy person under 30, that absolute reduction is pretty close to zero (because the IFR is pretty close to zero).

That difference could easily be accounted for by the death certificate harvesting applied to the unvaccinated. We will probably never know.

Can you tell me which of those vaccinations required to attend school has the shortest trial time before being put into circulation? And which of these vaccines doesn't prevent getting said disease/virus but just mitigate symptoms?
